This is the largest 300th Gurgaddi Divas of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji outside of India.

Managed to hear the brilliant Sarbjit Singh perform Asa Di Vaar and Kuldip Singh Delhi Vale.

I am indebted and bow my head in respect to the sevadaars who performed tirelessly to ensure Jorian dhi sevaan and Langar was run smoothly.

When Dhan Dhan Sat Guru, Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj was bought into the main Divan the sangat stood patiently and the sevadaars again managed to ensure there was no pushing or shoving as we witness in so many other events.

The Singh who performed the hukamana below, who I can only presume was Taksali had such a beautiful voice:

ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਕੀ

धनासरी भगत रविदास जी की

Ḏẖanāsrī bẖagaṯ Raviḏās jī kī

Dhanaasaree, Devotee Ravi Daas Jee:

ੴ ॥

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥

Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯgur parsāḏ.

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਹਮ ॥

हम सरि दीनु दइआलु न तुम सरि अब पतीआरु किआ कीजै ॥

Ham sar ḏīn ḏa▫i▫āl na ṯum sar ab paṯī▫ār ki▫ā kījai.

There is none as forlorn as I am, and none as Compassionate as You; what need is there to test us now?

ਬਚਨੀ ॥੧॥

बचनी तोर मोर मनु मानै जन कउ पूरनु दीजै ॥१॥

Bacẖnī ṯor mor man mānai jan ka▫o pūran ḏījai. ||1||

May my mind surrender to Your Word; please, bless Your humble servant with this perfection. ||1||

ਹਉ ॥

हउ बलि बलि जाउ रमईआ कारने ॥

Ha▫o bal bal jā▫o rama▫ī▫ā kārne.

I am a sacrifice, a sacrifice to the Lord.

Kāran kavan abol. Rahā▫o.

O Lord, why are You silent? ||Pause||

ਬਹੁਤ ॥

बहुत जनम बिछुरे थे माधउ इहु जनमु तुम्हारे लेखे ॥

Bahuṯ janam bicẖẖure the māḏẖa▫o ih janam ṯumĥāre lekẖe.

For so many incarnations, I have been separated from You, Lord; I dedicate this life to You.

great event... guroo saahib did immense kirpa. the first hukamnama was read by gyani gurdeep singh ji damdami taksal and the last hukamnama which was also amazing was by gyani inderjit singh (guru tegh bahadur gurdwara)

Best event so far that ive ever been to. hats off to all the organisers and sevadars who all contributed. An amazing event! all the keertani were amazing, katha was BEAUTIFUL! langar was tasty as always, stalls and workshops were full of everything and lets not forget the nihang singhs making Shardayee! AKAAAL
