i get really angry about this , the bride and groom go off to shave themselves and that takes ages, so when you want to go the party after it takes forever for them to come, and you dont get any starters basically until they arrive. makes me mad

Because he's just doing what people have been doing for years, Punjabi culture outnumber us, we should use Guru Granth Sahib ji's guidance. You should just explain to him the values.
