As we have heard the news coming out of Pakistan of the treatment of the Sikhs by the Pakistan Taliban - one wonders whether Nankana Sahib is safe.

The Pakistan Taliban have already started destroying Sufi mosques and they are Muslim.

This what happens when you get society based on religion - where religion overides civil law.

All religous based societies are failures.

Truth is, nothing is safe. We all saw what happened to those giant Buddhist statues. Fact on the ground is, they could attack our Gurdwaras at any time.

Nihungs need moden training incase they have to takkar with the Taleban. I can't see the taleban tolerating Sikhs, even if they pay Jaziya. Would be too risky. I know Mullah Omar in the past offered protection for Sikhs but today, things are different. Plus those nonPanjabi Sikhs (AFghan, NWFP ones) - most of them seemed to have lost their anakh.
