santsevak jee, here are my 2-3cents.

Yes, the head should be covered everywhere anytime 24/7 for sikhs who do respect their hair and consider it as a hukam from their Guru and follow it without asking questions.

Now the ones who are not strictly following any rehat (or if they are amritdhari, but don't wanna follow rehat strictly),kind you mentioned, they are supposed to keep their head covered everywhere in Gurudwara Sahib. (Also, true that jehnu Guru dikhda hai, una nu sabh kite dikhda, uth diyan baihindiya, sutiya jagdiya, ghar vich kam te street te bathroom vich, anywhere not only in Gurudwara).

I have faced the same situation at our local gurudwara. The truth is some people just don't understand the importance of it. They wanna go blind or whatever it is. One lady even once said to someone, that my dharam doesn't say that to cover head, whatever dharam she is following. Couple of people questioned me for the point of covering my head. u won't believe it, it was midaged and elderly people.

My reasoning is when they are in langar, they are eating guru blessed food. So give respect to that food. Panj piyare actually tell you to cover your head doing any kiriya, and eating food and using bathroom, they are kiriya.

Anyways, sangat can shed more light on this topic.

In My Opinion,

Most Punjabi Women and Men are Bemukhs, Manmukhs and/or Patit. They always try to Pretend They Know Sri GuruGranth Sahib Jee Intimately. (Yet they do not keep any Sehaj Path, AmritVela, Nitnem Etc.). The New Generation will Hate the Older Generation for This Hypocrisy. The New Generation will Strive to Be True Khalsa. These Vampires (Blood Red Lipstick), Cheap Gold Wearing, Hair Dying, Ugly Old Geezers Who have No Jeevan, use the Gurudwara as Their Social and Cultural Center. They neither Understand nor try to Understand the Jyot of GuruGranth Sahib Jee nor the Jugati of Guru Sahib. They are Idiots who wear Cheap Bangles and Earrings. They look Ugly no matter How Hard They Try. They Neither Look Good Outside, Nor do They Have Gurmukh Jeevan Inside. They get their Inspiration not From Guru, but from Bollywood. The Rich Ones Just come To Show Off Their Jewelry. The Problem is Not That They Choose Not to Follow Gurmat Dharma, the Problem is That They Preach Manmat!! Instead of Learning Sikh Dharma Jugati, They Preach Bollywood Manmat! They Neither are in Love or Understand GuruGranth Sahib Ji, Dasam Patshah. Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Lal Singh, Bhai Gurdas Singh, Khalsa Dharma and Jugati; Nothing. They Just Talk and Cause Conflicts for The Authentic Seekers. For Them Gurdwaras are Cultural and Social Playgrounds instead of a Dharamsala.

The Jugati is to ALWAYS have Head Covered during Eating for a Gursikh. One can also Read the Puratan Rehit on This, and the Punishments for not adhering, are Grave!! But they don't believe; what can be done? We will ALL find out Truth when we Leave our Body; Many Will Repent Then. Jugati is the Container for the Ocean of Jyot. Without Jugati; There is Nothing.

The Jugati of Khalsa is to Always Have Head, Kesh, Dasam Duar etc. Covered.

We Can Try to Explain to the Old Generation, but They are Caste Ridden, Social and Cultural Vampires, who speak of Guru This and Guru That, but have NO JEEVAN. They use Gurdwaras for Gossiping. They have No Clue nor Love for Khalsa Dharma yet They Speak Like They know Of The Greatest Heavens and The Realm of Truth and The Secrets of The Creator. They Will Repent When Death Approaches!

The Old Generation Men and Women Caused Much Damage, and They will Be Despised for This. The New Generation will Love the Jyot and Jugati of Sikh Dharma.

What to do for such, who pretend to know of Gurbani, and Quote and Quote, yet are empty inside? They Speak of Simran and Quote GuruGranth Sahib Ji, Yet have NO JUGATI of Sikh/Khalsa Dharma. They do not understand, that one can live physically close to Guru for Years and Years and Years, yet be Very Very Very Far Away from Guru. The Older Generation Think they Know of Gurmat because they Physically live close, but in Reality are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR AWAY!

The New Generation Khalsa Will Correct the Past. Khalsa Will Rise!

Head should be covered for Gursikhs, where ever the Guru Resides. Where does The Guru Not Reside? Head Should be Covered during All Kriyas. Head Should be Covered in Sangat and Pangat. Minimum Jugati for People who do not Follow nor Understand Dharma is to Have Head Covered at All Times in Sargun Sangat, Pangat, and all Grounds of Gurudwara. Many People who Do not Follow Gurmat Dharma still Appreciate the Jugati and Maryada of Gurmat, and Accept it with Love; It is Those Witches and Demons who Like to Cause Problems to Safeguard Their Manmat and Preach Manmat through their words and actions who Are the Problem. They are Punjabis, Not Sikhs.

Khalsa Will Rise and Correct the Mistakes of the Old Generation.

We need to Bring Back Tat-Gurmat. Lareevaar Sri GuruGranth Sahib Jee. Raag Keertan with Guru Sahibs' Stringed Instruments. Khalsa Nishkhaam Committees and Sevadaars doing Keertan, Katha, Chor Sahib, Sarbloh Degh, Hukamnama, Paath Langar Maryada etc.. Focus on GuruGranth Sahib Ji, Dasam Patshah Bani, Bhai Gurdas Ji, Bhai Nand Lal Singh Ji, Bhai Gurdas Singh Ji. We Need Gurmat Dharamsalas. Preach Khalsa – Panj Pyareh Khande Pahul and Rehat; and We Will Make Earth into Heaven

Chardi Kala!

DON'T BE A BAMUN ......

READ THE ASA DI // .......

"DOEE DOTI BASTAR KAPATUN ...JA E JANS BRAMUN KARMUN SAB FORKT KARMUN"

IF YOU THING BY KEEPING 2 KASHRA (DOTI) AND KEEPING YOUR HEAD COVERED IS SPRTIAL GAIN THEN YOU ARE DO FORKT( NONTHING BUT BAMUN VAAD) BECAUSE A BAMUN STILL GRAMS HIS DOTI AND COVERS HIS HEAD .

COVERING YOUR HEAD WHILE EATING OR WHILE COOKING ONLY STOPS OUR LONG HAIR FROM ACCIDENTLY ENTERING THE FOOD......NONTHING ELSE SO IF YOU HAVE YOUR HAIR NEATLY TIED BACK....

NONTHING WRONG WITH THAT

GROW UP!!!!!

Bhai Nand Lal JI in his rehatnama tells

"Nagan sees bahar phire nagan sees jo khaye,

Nagan parsad ju bantaee, tankhahi bado kahae."

and also it is told by PUNJ SINGHS during Amrit Sanchar to the Sangat

to keep the head and Kesh (hairs) covered in general and especially

while reading or hearing Gurbani and cooking or serving or eating .

Whosoever does take The Amrit (Khande ki Pahul) has to follow the

instructions(Rehat and life style )told by the PUNJ SINGHS :-

"Panch Singh Amrit jo devhe, Ta ko sir dhar chhak pun levhe.

Pun mil pancho rehat jo bhakhahe, Tako drirh kar man meh rakhahe."

(Rehatnama Bhai Desa SIngh ji)

No one in Sikhi is allowed to keep his/her head uncovered within the walled

boundry of Gurudwara Sahib and those who see/feel, everywhere/every time

Guru Sahib ji being there Ang-Sang, they keep thier heads covered around the

clock always becoz of above said reason.

Waheguru sarbat nu sumatt bakhshan.

Bhul chuk khima ,Waheguru ji ka Khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh
