Khalistan - The World Not The Nation

Khalistan is inevitable. It is our destined future. But the people we hear screaming today for Khalistan will not be the ones to create it. Khalistan is going to be created by the true Khalsa, the ones that follow the teachings of all 11 Sikh Gurus and who are truly pure of heart. To understand how Khalistan is going to be created it is important to understand what Khalistan is, what the role of our Gurus is in creating it and what the role of the Sikhs is today.

Khalistan, contrary to popular belief is not a small country that is going to be carved out of India.

Khalistan is, in fact, the whole world. The pure shall rule the world and they shall name it Khalistan.

Khalistan means the home of the pure, not the home of the Amritdhari Sikhs. Taking Amrit is not enough to make someone Khalsa; they have to overcome the five obstacles first to live as Khalsa.

Khalsa means free of ego, lust, anger/rage, attachment and greed. The Sikhs that are crying out for a new country of their own have not yet overcome the five obstacles within themselves; especially the biggest one: their anger. With the help of Waheguru they will one day understand Raj Karega Khalsa.

The Khalistan movement was originally started by Guru Nanak Dev Ji and it continues. It is a transformation of humanity and of the planet itself.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji could have stayed close to his home and just created a peaceful community of Sikhs in Rai Bhoi di Talwandi. I am sure Rai Bullar wouldn't have minded because he was one of the earliest people to see that Guru Nanak Dev Ji was an enlightened soul. But no, Guru Nanak Dev Ji travelled far and wide to touch hearts and awaken souls in every place he could reach.

The Gurus that followed continued to spread the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji regarding how to live a simple, pure life, free from anger, greed, lust, pride and attachment.

When the time of Guru Gobind Singh Ji came, he sacrificed his family but still he didn't create Khalistan. Guru Gobind Singh Ji created an army of the bravest men and women, and he fought for the rights for everyone to follow their own religion freely. Guru Ji could have used the army to create Khalistan, he had enough reason to. The times of Guru Gobind Singh Ji were harder on the Sikhs than are the times today. Guru Gobind Singh Ji didn't create Khalistan because he was sent on this earth to start a religion that would lead souls back to Waheguru, not one that would lead to its own country. Guru Ji foresaw a Khalistan that would encompass the entire earth.

Then why did 1984 happen? And how did this urge to create Khalistan, limited to just a country, come to be? What happened in 1984 will never be forgotten by any Sikh. But it happened in the Will of Waheguru and it happened for a purpose. The events of 1984 served to reawaken our sleeping Panth. The sacrifices of that time served as a reminder to we Sikhs that we were created to bring peace to this earth. 1984 served to spread Sikhs and Sikhi all over the world and to push us out of our comfort zones. Today Sikhs can be found all over the world spreading the message of the Sikh Gurus by their own example and laying the foundation of the the coming world of Khalistan.

All we need to do to create Khalistan is to transform ourselves and become the Khalsa of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. If we truly follow the path he showed us, we shall overcome the five obstacles and create Khalistan. The Pure Ones will rule the earth, not just a nation. And we will rule with our courage, kindness, compassion and radiance, not with the sword.

That is the path to Khalistan.

Yeh see now I agree that the khalsa will rule- Guru gobind Singh Ji says this himself

However I'm not sure that the whole world will be called khalistan - seeing as it is the whole world, not just a country that will become khalsa.

Having said this if guruji said it will be called khalistan then obviously I'm with it all the way, but I haven't read this anywhere.

Can't wait for the day the world becomes pure and I don't have to live in this weird craphole state of a world anymore!

This is a typical ploy to divert us from wanting independence I've seen many people who say Khalistan is in the heart Khalistan will or should be the world and what not FACT is that Shaheeds spilt thier blood for Khalistan Shaheed Sat Bhindranwale declared it on June 5th 1986 it was declared from Sri Akal Takht Sahib The Sikh Nation needs a homeland and we will make one in the form of independent Panjab Khalistan

Be it khalistan, the khalsa raj, the sikh republic of punjab or etc. We need to form a nation which help preserve our history, values and most importantly SIKHI AS A WHOLE. Sikhi will get no where unless we have polotical power in which we can help advertise our dharma. During the misl period and maharaja ranjit singhs reign, the sikh population increased vastly and so did our influence. Lets take the jews for example, for nearly 2000 years they had no nation, even though survived through it, but only just, they went through countless genocides besides the nazi holocaust. Is that really what the sikhs want? to go through countless genocides and massacres just before we wake up?. Because i assure you 1984 will happen again. I can bet you anything the sikhs were saying just after the 1947 partition that they were now safe and would never be opressed again, O BOY HOW WRONG THEY WERE! After the jews went throught the holocaust they knew that they needed a nation which would preserve them as a people, i think we should follow the jew's lead. Khalistan will be for all people, but the purpose of the nation will be to preserve and advertise sikh values, history, etc.

And also do not pay attention to these sikh.net 3HO cultist they go on about khalsa raj this and this is what khalsa is and we are the real sikhs. These people have never shed a bit of blood for the panth. they have offered no sacrifice for the panth when the panth needed it. They claim that the sikhs deserved 1984 and that if khalistan is going to happen then all you need to do is pray for it and it will happen by gods will. are these people idiots or what. nothing happens without any effort. so i guess i will just pray to get A grades without putting in any work. Did guru gobind singh ji sit with a malaa in his hand and pray not for the tyrants to kill people? NO! he got up with his talwar in his hand and made an effort to wipe out evil.

Look how much external influences are coming into sikhi just because we dont have political power ourselves(a country).

KHALISTAN IS THE ONLY SOLUTION!!

Khalistan Would be created by Satguruji Himself.

even though we are amritdhari, but if we are not khalsa yet, then khalsa raj will not be established in our heart. once khalsa raj is established there, it would be a starting point to start the khalsa raj around us. Dhan Dhan baba Sundar singh ji khalsa, everyone knows about them, were a true khalsa. This is the khalsa position for a jagasu, who is wishing to achieve. Being a Sikh is very easy today, but being a khalsa is far. Our partap has gone down , because our goal is not khalsa, but just nitname. If we don't do bhagti today, tomorrow we might not get same as today. Time is not quite right ahead, everyone is aware of it, either by their own anubhav or by a Mahapurash. bhul chuk maaf ji.

    • Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. Gurbani isn't a 1428 page rulebook, like Leviticus or the Vedas: ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਪੁੰਨ ਪਾਪ ਬੀਚਾਰਦੇ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਬਾਝਹੁ ਤਤੈ ਸਾਰ ਨ ਜਾਣੀ ॥ The Simritis and Shastras discriminate between charity and sin, but know not the essence of the Real Thing. Without the Guru, they know not the essence of the Reality, know not the essence of the Reality. Anand Sahib.
    • You're confusing two different things: One is merely adding starch to a turban to get a certain feel to the fabric. The other is tying your turban once and taking it off like a hat. It is this that people have a problem with. What's wrong with it is that Rehit says to tie your turban afresh every time. If you ask, "Where is that written?", it's written in Bhai Nand Lal ji's Rehitnama. @ipledgeblue didn't just make it up. Umm, no, bro. We're not evangelical Christians like President George W Bush of the US claiming to "talk to God" who told him to invade Iraq. "Speaking to him directly" basically ends up being doing whatever you feel like with the excuse that Guru ji told you to do it. If you still want to take your turban off like a hat, feel free to do so, but don't claim that it's Rehit.
    • You don't need to wear either a pag or dumalla in the gym. You can simply wear a meter or 1.5m small turban (gol pagg or round turban). It doesn't come off.
    • The reason you don't see anything wrong with it is because like a fish in water, you grew up in Western culture and imbibed it fully. It's very difficult to for parents to inculcate traditional culture while in the West. The reason there is a problem is because a kiss between a man and wife is a sexual act (I didn't say it's coitus, but it's still sexual.) By contrast a kiss between a mother and a child, for example, is not sexual. And in our culture, sexual acts are not allowed in public. Goras do allow it. And that's also the reason they have gay pride parades now with people walking around naked with children in attendance and so forth.
