mine right now is sehaj bilovahu jaisay thath na jaaee

it's referring to churning butter

you need to churn with a pace so you don't lose the rich butter

same is with life and doing naam simran

go at a pace, not too slow but not too fast

just enough so that you are always enjoying the essence of naam russ

you shouldn't feel like things are going to fast for you

but at the same time if you are lazy and move to slowly the russ will be lost from you

just some thoughts - please forgive my mistakes

waheguru ji ka khalsa,

waheguru ji ki fateh!

this was the shabad -

vaemuhathaajaa vaeparavaahu ||

naanak dhaas kehahu gur vaahu ||4||21||

- that was being recited as bhai sahib bhai randhir singh jee entered the gurdwara sahib, some days after his amrit sanchar, confused about the reality of the gurmantar

he had promised himself, and done ardas to the guru, that whichever shabad was recited as he entered the gurdwara - he would take it as hukam from the guru about the reality of the gurmantar.

the shabad is from ang 376 of dhan dhan sri guru granth sahib jee, written in raag aasaa, mahalaa 5 (dhan dhan sri guru arjan dev sahib jee)

Right now it's "sarbloh kee rachhaa hamnai"

I'm not sure but I think is a shabad by Dasam Patshah Guru Gobind Singh jee

The universal clad iron is my protection

Universal loha is a metaphor for God, Guru and the Khalsa

All i know about this is that khande-ke-pahul was made in sarbloh because sarbloh is pure, but it requires regular polishing - the same as the Khalsa, it is pure but it can get rusted if there isn't regular improvements in the daily life..

I'm not sure about the whole shabad - maybe somebody can enlighten us on that.

please forgive my mistakes

mehtab singh... take a look at your own gurbani quote...

"Amrit Rasnaa Peeo Pyaaree"

it's a sign :e:

anyways

Eethai Oothai Ghat Ghat Ghat Ghat Thoo(n)hee Thoo(n)hee Mohinaa

eethai oothai: i think its like here and there... like edhar odhar

ghat ghat ghat ghat: no idea... ghat means less doesnt it? how does that fit with the tuk?

too(n)hee too(n)hee: you

Mohinaa: mohan means god... is mohinaa just a variation of the word?

helppp

i think ghat ghat ghat ghat means "body after body after body after body"

like God is "here and there, in each and every single body after body after body after body - just you just you beautiful God"

body means like the body of any creature, plant, being, object in the creation

vaaheguroo jee kaa khaalsaa

vaaheguroo jee kee fatheh!!!!

i just got back last night from one of the best smagams of my short existence as a wannabe of a gursikh (cannot call myself a sikh until i start keeping amrit velaa)...

the smagam (actually there were two smagams, one of them at martindale gurdwara sahib and another at crossroads community hall -- but together the whole experience was like one smagam) was so absolutely amazing thanks to the love and commitment and enthusiasm for sikhi that the sangat in calgary has..

i call it best... or one of the best... because it was one during which the sangat was most focused on the keertan and also one during which i learned a lot about my real self and how there is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more for me to do to become a gursikh... it's all in the hands of guru jee.... niraguneeaarae gun nehee koee thum dhaan dhaehu miharavaanaa

for a moorakh like me it was the best opportunity to try to clean my ridiculously filthy mind... " ham paapee thum paap kha(n)ddan"

so in that theme..

right now (on october 12) my gurbani quote is "maadho hum aisay thoo aisaa"

so below is the link to this shabad on sikhitothemax

(i know that's a cop-out... but i don't have the giaan to do vichar of this shabad or any shabad for that matter so please forgive me.....)
