Sikh Channel (Sky Channel 840) will host a LIVE show this evening at 6pm regarding the UK Sangat-led Satkaar campaign.

Attempts have been made to distort and misrepresent the peaceful nature of the protest held on 16 October 2010 in the Grays Gurdwara Complex.

Sikh Channel will offer the opportunity for representatives from the Grays Gurdwara committee and community to voice their opinion on this show. GurSikhs who were present at the peaceful protest will also be attending the show.

From the sounds of Rana's presentation on the programme so far, it looks like Sikh Channel have dropped the Satkaar issues on tonights show.

Either the Grays Committee members did not give an interview in the end or Rana was too uncomfortable to talk about the issue about alcohol, meat and parties in some UK Gurdwaras.

Anyway, it's still a very relevant topic that's being discussed at the moment.

The Sikh Channel were requested to attend Grays Gurdwara as some individuals from Grays made claims that the Panth Time live programme broadcast on Saturday misrepresented the committee and trustees of Grays Gurdwara. The Sikh Channel crew arrived at the Gurdwara on Sunday evening to interview these individuals who subsequently declined to give an interview.

The individuals were invited to attend the Sikh Channel studio today to air their viewpoint and did not.

Due to the lack of participation from the specific individuals of the Grays Gurdwara Committee and Trustees, the earlier part of this programme was cancelled. Individuals representing the Satkaar Campaign attended the programme.
