i was listening to simran and was trying to fall asleep, my head started vibrating when simran (khalsa camp) was going on.. it vibrates for 2-5 secs..... then the next day it would randomly vibrate?? ermm.. is it something medical or what??

i looked it up and it says something about yoga (but i dont really practice yoga.. :\) it says something about seeing visions and color indigo i dont have any of that.. ??

it vibrates as if its getting bigger in size..? and then closes back in.. then after a while it does it continously?? it happens more when i listen to paath..???

but i dont know why because i am into sikhi but i am sucha a paapi (not saying outta humility) i really am...

does anyone ever have that head virbrating thing? :\ is it normal??

is it because i have been drinking too much coffee? :\

You had an out of body experience (just kidding).

It might have to do with the coffee. I remember i stayed up all night to study for a bio test and then had a bio trip the next day, i went and got coffee even though i usually don't drink it. It was a horrible mistake, i wasn't myself the whole time and i felt jittery lol .

I can drink chaa on occasion but too much coffee doesn't suit me. Other than the coffee theory, i am not sure. b3681aea8e2f82b5f62ae4fe85923c1ab81625b4.png

1)Its good don't worry.

2)When it happens don't try to stop it let it happen.

3)Don't ask for advice on this forum

4)Don't tell anyone else.

5)Nothing to do with yoga. But you may see various colours ultimately leading to white prakaash.

6)Try to listen to the buzzing/vibrations

7)You want it to get bigger and fill ur whole body and all ur hairs

You say ur a paapi so why did it happen to you?

Past lifes/karma..

Hopefully this should lead u in the right direction the rest is for you to discover.

Last peice of advice ......

Don't try to ask people because 95% won't know what your talking about that includes amritdharis.. The majority of people look good on the outside but have no jeevan or practical experience of doing jaap. This is a path for you to follow alone look inside or to Guru Sahib for answers. You may think to ask someone who looks like they have more experience than you but the reality is that they're probably way further down the ladder than you. Its like an a level student asking a little kid for help on his homework, they won't be able to help you, they will only confuse you further.

Not sure about Dasam Dwar opening up so i searched to see any kathas about it, Sant Singh Ji Maskeen has katha about it, i'm listening to it now. Seems interesting.

edit- i am not authority on the issue, was only able to share my narrow minded thoughts from my very short experience.

is it normal to feel a "pulsating wave of energy/vibration" in your head when listening to kirtan/simran? For instance when focusing on shabbad it tends to occur at the end of each line of shabbad (sorry if this isnt the correct terminology) or when someone is saying vaheguroo simran, each time vaheguroo is said i can feel this wave/vibration/pulsation. its very difficult to describe. I wonder if i have a brain aneurism :s

Im trying not to focus on this feeling as im unsure if its a distraction or something which ive started imagining. im not amritdhari yet and a big sinner too but trying to walk on the path. i dont know if its the same thing the op is experiencing. any advice appreciated

    • The Mind is Jyot Saroop (Waheguru), but the mind is under the influence of five evils… Through Naam Simran( Rememberance), the mind will begin to detach from evil, and get back to its original form ( MANN TU JYOT SAROOP HEH)… Until the mind breaks free from the five evils, one will go through the cycle of paap and punn….which leads to Karma… Naam Simran destroys past karma, and prevents new karma coming into fruition… I did this, I did that… This non realisation of the Jyot Saroop gives rise to paap and Punn, which in turn gives birth to suffering and misery…
    • I agree we're not born with sin like the Christians think. Also I agree we have effects of karma. But Gurbani does state that the body contains both sin and charity (goodness): ਕਾਇਆ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਪਾਪੁ ਪੁੰਨੁ ਦੁਇ ਭਾਈ ॥ Within the body are the two brothers sin and virtue. p126 Actually, we do need to be saved. Gurbani calls this "udhaar" (uplift). Without Satguru, souls are liable to spiritual death: ਜਿਨਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਨ ਭੇਟਿਓ ਸੇ ਭਾਗਹੀਣ ਵਸਿ ਕਾਲ ॥ p40 Those who have not met Satguru Purakh are unfortunate and liable to death. So, yeah, we do need to be saved, and Guru ji does the saving. The reason Satguru is the one to save is because God has given Satguru the "key" (kunji): ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਹਥਿ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੋਰਤੁ ਦਰੁ ਖੁਲੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਮਿਲਾਵਣਿਆ ॥੭॥ In the True Guru's hand is the key. None else can open the door. By perfect good fortune the Guru is met. p124
    • That's unfortunate to hear. Could you give any more information? Who was this "baba"? He just disappeared with people's money? Obviously, you should donate your money to known institutions or poor people that you can verify the need of through friends and family in Punjab.
    • Sangat ji,  I know a family who went Sevewal to do seva sometimes end of 2019. They returned last year in great dismay and heart broken.  To repent for their mistakes they approached panj pyaare. The Panj gave them their punishment / order to how t make it up which, with Kirpa, they fulfilled.  They were listening to a fake Baba who, in the end, took all the "Donations " and fled sometime over a year ago. For nearly 4 years this family (who are great Gursikhs once u get to know them) wasted time and effort for this fake Baba. NOT ONLY this one fam. But many, many did worldwide and they took their fam to do seva, in village Sevewal, city Jaitho in Punjab. In the end many families lost money in thousands being behind this Baba. The family, on return, had to get in touch with all the participants and told them to stop.  I am stating this here to create awareness and we need to learn from whom we follow and believe. It's no easy but if we follow the 3 S (Sangat, Simran and Seva) we will be shown the light. As I am writing this the family in question have been doing the same since 2008 onwards and they fell for this Baba... it is unbelievable and shocking.  This am writing in a nutshell as am at work on my break so not lengthy but it deserves a great length.  Especially the family in question, who shed light on youngsters about Sikhi 20 plus years!!
