I know someone, who every morning after shower do prayers infront of Sikh gurus and parents and use little little books and read and doing prayers...using insense and some things which i never really saw because i was not able to watch the place to which my person looked.

what what my this person done? what prayers, what kind of little books that are?

i want to understand wht my person done there exactly, i mean is there a special order, doing what after what?

also person kneed down, and had something in hand like a chain...

Choice of every person and depends on your region. Sikhs duties include keep hair clean, comb regularly with kanga and dispose dead hairs with respect. Always cover your head as prescribed by our religious code of conduct. Sikhs wear the turban out of love and as a mark of commitment to the faith.

We use word "Gutka Sahib"; from which Sikhs suppose to read daily morning and evening prayers. There is no ritual of doing our daily prayers in front of any picture but again we all have our own style to live our life. Our main basic core requirement is to handle 'Gutka Sahib' with utmost respect, cover it after done and always handle with clean hands. Chain thing is called "mala" which many find helpfull doing simran (like tap counter we have on our phones). Simran = repeating gurmantar "Waheguru, waheguru.... "

i believe everything that veerji said above is enough to answer your questions, but im confused that if oyu have a sikh name why dont you know all of this?, but its still ok as long as you know all of this now its good
