Two methods should be applied in order to put stop on this new trend by Nastak ppl:

1. Strict Punishment such as life imprisonment. Put them in jail without bail if found guilty. (Indian life term = 13 years or so). I don't want to sound very cruel but harsh recorded punishment should be put up in front so that other possible copycat criminals should learn before taking panga with sikh panth.

2. Prachar Prachar Prachar Prachar Prachar in all thousands of punjab villages. Don't expect that all sikhs in punjab are aware of sikh dharam, history, culture and most important Rehat Maryada. It is because of lack of prachar that we sadly have to hear/see all these recent sad news.

SINGHO THEY HAVE DELCARED FULL OUT WAR ON US.

Singh jee.. There is no "they".. those ppl are among us and we cant fight and kill each other off. In order to fight we need visible enemy and certainly whoever are behind all of this won't come fwd because they clever than most of us. They know what we are capable of and they learnt that from our history. First we need to clear internal gand before taking care of external gand.

Sikhi power inside punjabi ppl is dead.. all of them are hooked up with drugs, bollywood, left their own language/history and other crap.. Those who are aware of sikhi are extremely small minorities in punjab (small bodies of independent taksal, akj) and their voice is often left unheard.

When we have majority of punjabi ppl live their life according on sikh principles then such above news won't happen at all.. What we can do? Find a way to revive them up to live a proper Sikh life.

strict punishment should be death penalty, when sukha singh and mehtab singh went out to saud massa they didnt wait for the kingdom of the time to capture anyone or give sarkari punishment, ppl in india arent scared to go to jail for killing their daughters some other dharams granth is nothing to them.... lets just say what every sikh doesnt want to say, WE EITHER WANT SOMEONE ELSE TO DO OUR JOB, OR WE ARE SCARED TO DEATH TO LEAVE SOCIETY ARE CONFORTABLE HOMES, FAMILIES, MONEY AND TAKE ACTION IN OUR OWN HANDS, UNLIKE OUR ENEMIES WHO DO TAKE ACTION WITH THEIR OWN HANDS...WE ARE TO AFRAID TO GET TOGETHER AND MAKE A MOVEMENT LIKE LIBIYANS AND EGYPTIONS... like guru ji said a time will come when the so called soormas will put down their weapons and the ones who used to ask for help and are scared today have the weapons and roam in thousands, ALL THESE MATTAS ARE WACK AND ASKED FOR BECAUSE WE ARE SCARED TO HAVE A SCRATCH ON US, AND IF TORTURED WE DO NOT HAVE AVASTHA TO WITHSTAND AND NOT DOLL.....

who are we asking these mattas from indian govt., lmfao good look brothers, sisters...the very same govt, who didnt accept sikh anad karaj act today, what will we except from them manmohan himself has married his three daughters into hindu families.....

we should all take off the singhs n kaurs from our last names and change them to chand etc even then the chands of today are roaming in hundreds with weapons, we are guru gobind singhs gunaghars we can talk how much we want, thats all well do because we are afraid to get together, we need to stop fooling with ourselves and these mattas for indian govt to accept

I agree veerji ...parchaar is the main weapon we have..we need to awaken the sikh spirit amongst our lost punjab co-religionists....but isnt it strange?.....one quran is burnt in the USA by a conservative pastor..and thousands of miles away in Afghanistan...2 UN employed foreign christians are killed in revenge ....i dont agree with this appaling act of targetting innocent people....but atleast they take no prisoners when it comes to their faith....on the other hand our guru granth sahib is attacked and there is no uproar in the very heartland of sikhi, punjab....very sad

    • This is where the vichola needs to get involved, and family!
    • Hi All, I havent been on this forum for a while but I thought id give it a try again as it helped me through some rough times earlier in my life. I wanted to seek for guidance on sikhi and marriage ... I noticed a post earlier on sanjog etc. and it got me thinking about my own life and marriage. For context, I have been married 3 years and things are not working out. When we met, I looked in to sanjog alot and it felt like it was written. However, as these years have gone by its become apparent that we no longer align with each other and our marriage is struggling. We dont seem to understand each other and things have fallen apart. We are at a stage now where separation/divorce is looking like the best option. Neither of us are happy and whilst we have tried to work things through in many different ways, after 3 years we have drifted away. What are the sikh views on this? is it written if we decide that we no longer serve each other? or is that a sin and should I continue to work at it? my issue at the moment is that it is draining me. I feel withdrawn from everything due to things going on between us including sikhi and going to the gurdwara.  Breaks my heart to even be writing this but I do think if we are both not happy and cant see a way of being happy then what is the point in continuing? Or should I be continuing and is it paap if we dont honour our laavan? if that is the case, what does sikhi say about marriage? how do I continue knowing everyday I feel the way I do?   Thanks

    • I'll use this place as my spiritual journal so if anyone wants to join then feel free to! I'm not sure if this could be classed as an experience but last week (or 2 weeks ago), I felt my saliva to be sweet however I lost it after a week. I don't really regret it though, if I lost it then it's Hukam Another point, I feel my concentration to be very good for a while, I can focus on the void for a longer period of time than I could before. I also feel a lot more Anand, it's all Guru di kirpa
