Need Advice

SSA all,

I Was wrongfully accused of stealing recenetley by security gaurds who made me go through a big ordeal. whats worse is I was also injured in the process why they were escorting me to the security room and used excessive force against me.

Now I reported it to the police. And they have gave me two iptions. they can arres the security gaurd and probably get him sacked. or the police can just give the secuirty gaurd a imformal chat.

not sure what to do. Im not the kind of person that wants to get someone lose their job. but I also suffered a serious injury and was falsely acussed. not to mention my repuation was also damaged by the incident.

the feds are kind of persuading me just to for the gaurd to get a an informal chat. and not arrested. but its up to me.

any ideas?? they say he is likely to get away with it anyway as he will say he used reasonable force to detain.

the feds are kinda of just out to protect their own departments. and are tryna convince me to not go ahead with it.

Personally I would take formal action. We all have to answer for our actions. Using unreasonable force which caused injury and being falsely accused of theft is not something I would accept. Who knows who else would suffer if this matter was addressed. It's not you that would cause this person to lose there job, but the consequences of there own actions if you were proven right.

^^ yep that whats I was thinking. And thats what I said to the feds but they are tryna make feel guilty about the security losing his job and they are saying Its up to me. but also basicaly taking the security gaurds side. because thye all do like a similar job. im in the process of taking legal action against the gaurd. and my soliciotor said . it doesnt make a difference what you do. it wont affect your case or the outcome of it.

Stop posting on this forum about this. Stop talking to the police. Get up first thing tomorrow and call an attorney.

Agreed with wales. Immediately call attorney!!!!!

Do not make any haste decision on your own. Security company is responsible for this not the guard and they will realize their fault only after you make them pay for all damages. Get medical report of your injuries and keep record of that. If you are totally innocent then Call attorney, nothing wrong in that and you are not hurting anyone but seeking justice !! These rent-a-cop security guards are often not properly trained at all and they do not have any extra right than a civilian to restrain you (if u r in usa). I did couple of years security guard part time job during college days, so I know the limits.

Do not take any advice from cops in such matters...
