IT IS THE INTERFAITH DIWALI EVENT THAT IS SUPPORTED BY THE GURU NANAK GURDWARA, HOWEVER THERE ARE NIRANKARIS TIMETABLED FOR A PRESENTATION.

Gurdwares aren't supposed to support Nakalis (Fakes). Gurdwares are only supposed to support the true, eternal, one only, current SatGuru of the Sikhs, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaaj.

Bro, the first approach shouls always be to approach the committee with pyaar...we should always give them an opportunity first. Hopefully some elders can approach the Gurdwara committee and educate on their wrong doing.

Just to let you know the Sangat are meeting the committee members of the Gurdwara Sahib on Sunday at 1pm, with Guru Maharaj di kirpa we are hoping that GNG committee withdraw their support to this event.

Those committee members must not be aware of the Hukamnama of 1978 issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib

All Sikh Gurdwara committee's, if they believe in GURU GRANTH GURU PANTH also respect the decision of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and follow it.

Show the hukamnama of 1978 to them.

Sikhs are ordered not have any dealings with Niranakaris who have association with the killed Gurbachan who was head of this sect.

The committee I am sure are intelligent people who will realize that they are making a big mistake and then withdraw their support from the above programme and they should let the interfaith committee know of their decision in writing, that they (gurdwara committee) have to respect the sentiments of the whole sikh nation and respect the edict of Akal Takht Sahib.

They should inform interfaith that is is the congregation who object to this and it is the congregation who's decision should be final especially when we ( the commiittee) were unaware of the edict from Akal Takht sahib.

Simple.....................if that is the committee put Punjabi ego to one side.

Just a quick update: A meeting took place between the sadh sangat and GNG Bedford Committe members.(23/10/11) and we are please to announce with GURU MAHARAJ'S KIRPA that GNG Bedford withdrew their support from the diwali festival event and NO samosas or GNG Bedford Committee presence was sustained.

The 1978 Hukamnama was read out to the committee and sangat which CLEARLY states ALL sikhs to have no form of contact with NARAKDHARIS in any way, shape or form.

Also it was highlighted that that even though we must support our local councils in which ever way possible, GNG Bedford Sadh Sangat does not support events that involve Anti Gurmat Music and Dancing.

GNG has always supported inter faith relations however we as a Panth primarily follow the Hukum laid out by Sri Akal Takht Sahib.

May Guru Maharaj fogive those responsible for Supporting this event whether it be knowingly or unknowingly and BLESS THEM WITH MORE OF AN UNDERTANDING IN THE FUTURE.

The rest remains an internal issue for GNG Bedford committee to discuss between themselves.
