at the anniversary of the 1984 ghalugarah 'panth-rattan' badal & family was enjoying this rubbish at a time when sangat world over was reciting gurbani sahib and doing aardas in memory of:

-the 10,000 sikhs that were killed in delhi and 10,000 sikhs across other parts of india

-the thousands of sikh women as young as 8 who were raped repeateadly infront of their families

-the thousands of sikhs who's homes and businesses were looted and burnt to the ground by mobs

the government sponcered genocide of sikhs was supported by bollywood stars such as amitabh bachan who was yelling khoon ka badla khoon.

the badals are happily smiling as bollywood star shahrakh yells a sacred jaikara while less then half naked girls (who have no style) are wriggling their bums. this is foul beyond words, however im not shocked.

Just like the football world cup, a concert is not out of the norm when things come to a end.

The wounds from past incidents do not need reopening - India has moved on. There is no better time to being a Sikh in India now for example the PM is Sikh, sports to with Harbhajan and Yuvraj and even popular culture too with Mahek Chahal and Sunny in the finals of Big Boss 5, however Pooja Bedi (a descendent of Guru Nanak Ji) was voted out a few weeks back.

Personally I thought Shah Rukh Khan put on a good show and its great seeing a Pathan respecting jaikara.

My family had no troubles during 1984 and we have a family, If anyone commits crime then sure they should be punished I agree.

I had a chat about this to many friends who also confirmed with me their families had no troubles during 84 but this does not stop me believing in law and order as there was alot of militancy at the time in Punjab that needed to be addressed. I dont want my homeland being called a little Pakistan.

I, and my family, also had no troubles during the holocaust. But that doesn't lead me to conclude that Hiter and his gestapo were fantastic. Its called intelligence. Its called using your brain. When independent international human rights organisations say that upwards of a quarter of a million sikhs were murdered by India in Punjab simply for being sikh....you're supposed to 'feel' their families pain. If you had any sense you would seek justice for them. That, is one type of person. The other type of person - as illustrated by your first message - likes to spend his time implying that a Hindu Punjabi porn star (Karen Malhotra....aka sunny leonne) is a Sikh. There is no point in trying to reach the 'mind' of the second type of person, as no such mind exists.
