Pointing towards sloganeering in support of militancy during Punjab bandh on March 28, CLP leader Sunil Jakhar has urged Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.

Speaking at a function here today, the CLP leader said Punjabis in general and those belonging to a particular community were scared as a number of youths brandishing swords had raised slogans in support of Khalistan and Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale during Punjab bandh observed to demand clemency for Balwant Singh Rajoana.

Stating that Badal was a liberal face in his fundamentalist party, Jakhar said: He is custodian of all communities and he should ensure that such incidents should not occur as the same thing had happened before the beginning of terrorism several decades ago”.

WOW, what a hypocrite. This man does not see the congress hand which led to violence in Punjab in the first place. They think that violence only began from Sant Bhindranwalay. Before telling Sikhs what to do maybe Sunil Jhakkar should also ask his own party leadership at center(delhi) to punish Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler and other murderers of the Sikhs.

Imagine if everyone who shouted slogans also educated themselves on the Khalistan movement and the history of the Sikhs in relationship with the Indian government post 1947 and built up their jeevans as Sikh.

There would be need for slogans. Speak softly (and intelligently) and carry a big stick.

This shows communal bend of mind of Jakhar families his father in 1987 has said"e can afford the death of 14000 soliders to wipe out 15 million sikhs from India Balram Jakhar is his father who said it.Mr Jakhar should be grateful to sikhs that this kind of people r allowed to survive in Punjab, and those bussineessmen who support anti sikh people like Ashutosh r amaasing wealth and r living in Punjab.
