SON OF SARDAR, BOLLYWOOD movie which created lot of fuss, insulted the whole SIKH community by passing comments such as "Sardar naan Hote, to gaaliyan kaun sikhata", "Saradr naan hote, to joke kis pe bante", the movie was eventually passed under the carpet by Indian Censor Board, albiet issues raised by Navkiran Singh and other Sikh individuals, released today and is a BIG FLOP. THANKS TO WAHEGURU.

Just worth to mention over here, the movie Sadda Haq showing atrocities on Sikhs has been banned by Indian Censor board.

Mixed reviews

Taran Adarsh of Bollywood Hungama gave Son of Sardaar 4 out of 5 stars and stated Son of Sardaar is for lovers of hardcore masala movies. If you liked Wanted, Dabangg and Rowdy Rathore, chances are you will relish Son of Sardaar as well. The North Indian audiences in particular and those residing abroad will be simply delighted by this chatpata, masaledaar fare.

Times of India gave Son of Sardaar 3 out of 5 stars and stated that Ashwni Dhir entertains in parts, with a plenty of Punju humour and goofy one-liners that crack you up. While handling all the Jaswinders, Parminders, Happys and Sweetys, he loses the plot, stretching it all around the sarson-ka-khet (and leaving some behind). This is a mass-entertainer.

Zee News has given 3 out of 5 to the film and stated that Certain portions are a bit of a drag, but the comic sequences will make up for the monotony. The cast has put up a good show. Overall, SOS is worth a watch, a complete family entertainer.

NDTV gave Son of Sardaar 1.5 out 5 and stated Son of Sardaar deserves no form of absolution, no matter who or what your God is.

Rediff gave 2 out of 5 and stated Son of Sardaar has a lot for the masses but it lacks a good story.[43] Bollywood Life gave 2.5 out of 5 and stated Son of Sardaar is over-the-top and occasionally entertaining!

Never mind big flops all Bollywood films are big plops. Mind numbing for those not already brain dead. Movies for those incapable of following dialogue, news or visuals without a background music track instructing them whether to feel sad, jolly or ready for action. Sadly, this mind numbing trend is being continued with the Sikh Channel in the UK. In fact, they're dumbing down Sikhs even more. No news or no anything is shown without a musical soundtrack.

Sadda Haq is a different movie,

Probably, you are confusing with this - http://punjabstate.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/sadda-haq-punjabi-movie.html when you mention RockStar.

Sadda Haq shows the reality of Punjab, 84 and post 84 and torture on the Sikh community.
