guru jee says

what is kachee baanee?

satguroo binaa hor kachee hai baanee

without the true guru, other bani is kachee

bani = word to inspire divine introspection / union with almighty

kachee = unripe

baanee tha kachee satgur baajho hor kachee baanee

that bani is kachee without the true guru, ANY other bani

kahday kachay sunday kachay kachee aakh vakhaanee

reciting it is unripe, listening to it is unripe, unripe is the practice of such a bani

har har nith karay rasnaa kaheaa kachhoo na jaanee

they say "har har" with their mouths but nothing GETS SAID (in God's court)

chith jin kaa hir laeiaa maaeyaa bolan bhae ravaanee

those whose concentration has been controlled by maaeyaa speak mechanically, not out of love for God

kahai naanak satgur baajho hor kachee baanee

Nanak says, without the true guru any other banee is unripe

This means any bani is UNRIPE if the writer who wrote it was engrossed in a mind-set of motivation by maaeyaa (kaam, krodh, lobh, moh, ahankaar, eeirkhaa, duait, aadeeaa, beaadeeaa, nindaa, chuglee, etc.)

I first said fruitless, but it is not fruitless to recite dharmic geets and taadee vaars.

What is the fruit of our labour? The fruit of our labour in this world is Naam Daan and union with Guru jee.

Therefore some things can help us - but they will be KACHAY (not fully ripe) compared to Gurbani. Gurbani is fully ripe and therefore you get the full essence. Nothing else can give the full essence.

It is like eating only half-ripe fruits all the time. They will not have the same taste or benefit as a fully ripe fruit.

wahegurooo thx veerje for replying edhaa matlap aa we ho sakdaa ya " jade chhez gurunanak de charnaa naal jode oh kachi nahi"

becuse when we hear dharmic geet or kavitaa by many keertnya abt amrit abt god wich many people like and they get inspired, so that is not wrong becuse it takes u near god

thx khlasa preet and joga singh i got u both ,i just spoke on phone to a guru ka pyara and he said the same thing that only sggs is pakki bani as its wrritten by the true guru

and baki sab cannot obtain u sachkhand and moksh only true bani can dhan sangat dhan gurujee love u allll :lol: ))))
