Hi all, just was thinking and thought about people that get better from sant or brahmgiani, like obviously i know its all Waheguru and gods hukam and mehr if they glance their grace, but does one lose somethin from another side, like somebody passing away or other loss when we go to them to ask for help?

Guru Harkrishan ji went around healing the diseased of small pox, and then later himself suffered from the same disease !!

I would think that there are some form of energies or whatever you want to call them that can help overpower the negative energies until a threshold is reached !

True. It's all benefit, no loss. Even if you just sit and don't ask anything, you still get benefitted from the positive spiritual vibration.

And other thing, it's not that we go and ask the first day and our wish get fulfilled. It could take just one day or one year or anything based on our shanke/doubts, shardha, karams and Guru Sahib's kirpa. When right time comes, everything gets sorted out and/or we get spiritual strength to cope with the problems - meaning dukh/situation remain the same, but it doesn't affect you, in other words, your "avastha/spiritual level" rises.

Not loose but gain but that also depends on the student, sant mahapursh or sadh sangat mentioned in gurbani are meant to clear people doubts if student shows desire, this human being is surrounded by many doubts/sansai's which does not let human being/sadhak to transcend in spirituality . If one has spent time with mahapursh and still haven't got their doubts cleared one needs to question themselves at the first place before questioning mahapursh, be honest and candid about it- does one going to mahapursh sangat to hear what they want to hear based on their preconceived notions? or one is willing to look at their face in the mirror and genuinely willing to adapt good virtues and leaving bad avguns, willing to change their opinions, pre conceived notions, road blocks, bias they have created for themselves??

Another thing is people expecting too much from sant mahapursh- they idiolize them and focus on them rather on message which is shared from gurbani- they will clear your doubts, they will show you the way but you have to walk the path yourself..one aint getting bhramgyan on silver plate.!! It's very very rare one gets get bhramgyan in blink of eye (raja janak sakhi) or in the first meeting (sant javala singh ji getting from sant aya singh hoti mardan) for that one needs very very very good karam or previous life links and also candle is fully prepared to lit.

People need to realize at the end of day mahapursh will also show you mirror of your true self which is atma-paratma so what else is left?.. listen to gurbani kathas and katha of adhyatam/meditation by them to clear doubts and thats pretty much it then start applying the gurbani message on ourselves leave idolizing ..one day kirpa from guru maharaj will happen...kirpa does not happen if one does not make efforts and also recnognize guru maharaj already has done amazing kirpa for you be born in sikh family, gursikh sangat and sadh sangat...the way is shown in gurbani which is further decipher by sant mahapursh- you have to walk the path yourself..no one mahapursh divine expereinces are same so stop copying or expecting same..its different...whenever one look in the mirror and be honest and candid about yourself..no one knows one more than themselves that all knowing atma-paratma is your real self as always watching as witness and laughing always wondering why play sillly games always of hide and seek .its always there.!!
