Our lot are hopelessly lost, and it seems to be getting worst.

What kind of bakwaas is "clean up" ? Fair play, if someone wants to trim and cut ultimately it's their choice, but for someone on the path of Sikhi (particularly someone young) don't mess with their heads with such nonsense especially at such a formative time of their life.

We're fast becoming more Panjabi than we are Sikh, and that's not good.

Your family sound stupid, dont worry about them, this life is a test, its just a khel to find Truth. God sends losers our way sometimes to test us to show us how well we are practicing Truth. Always remember regardless of what maya says, that slander-the untrue statements-is committed out of jealousy-dont let the haters get to you-just continue down the path. Slander reflects the slanderers own insecurities- they want u to feel the way they do.
