I was the first on this forum to raise the prospects of our own kenyan sikh brothers and sisters maybe caught up in the violence in kenya right on the day it happened whereas most sikhs were asleep or enjoying and wasting their lives away with not even 1 concern for our panth ....

we need to work together as a community to safeguard our people against such future incidents....because these mentally unstable and brainwashed salafi wahaabi jihadi muslim beasts of hell aint gonna show anyone mercy they kill their own muslims for joke.... and so we should think long and hard what we would do if such things happen in our locality....

40+ sikhs were killed by evil filthy jihadi al-qaeda linked pasthun afghan dogs who crossed over the line of control from pakistan in kashmir in march 2000 when president clinton visited india.... they targeted kashmiri Sikhs because they werent armed, they were assessed as an easy weak soft target, they were a non-muslim minority and they wanted to send america a message that jihadi's are coming for america. if we take the analogy of a bully if he knows a person is weak he will pick on them and target them continuously when the bully gets beaten up and his family also pays for his violence then often the victimised person is left alone and is empowered. Similar if we look at the various attacks on pakistani christians and shia's. This was told to me by a Kashmiri Sikh himself some years ago whose village was not far from ChattiSinghPura where the massacre occurred. Let's not blame everything under the blue sky on the Muslims. I take your point about GOI but have to disagree with you there......I saw a video few months ago taken at the time of the witnesses and relatives who were there at the time stated on camera in 2000 that the murderers spoke afghani pasthu and were pasthun tribesmen.... im thinking the haqqani network waziristani taliban type of jihadi al qaeda type scummy smelly unhygienic evil muslims.

The GOI has by far killed the most number of Sikhs since 1947 and is our enemy however....ironically Sikhs are free to go about their business in india than in muslim occupied lands of afghanistan and pakistan and kashmir. So our eternal enemy is the one who wants to destroy our numbers and faith in theologic terms its islamo-fascists whereas out political short term enemy is govt of india. One must look no further than the Soviet example. They understood that the trouble makers among the Muslims are the Mullahs. Nairobi attack: UK woman and Americans 'among militants'

A British woman is thought to be among militants who killed at least 62 people at a Kenyan shopping centre, the country's foreign minister has said.

Amina Mohamed said the woman had "done this many times before" and "two or three" Americans were also attackers.

Earlier, Kenya's interior minister said all of the militants were men, although some may have been dressed as women.

Six British nationals are confirmed dead in the attack on the Westgate centre in Nairobi.

The Foreign Office (FCO) said the next of kin of the six had been informed and were being offered consular support.

It also said it was aware of the comments by Kenya's foreign minister, but officials have refused to speculate on the identity of any of the perpetrators.

An FCO spokeswoman said: "We continue to liaise very closely with the Kenyan authorities and to support their investigation into this attack."

At a press conference in Pakistan, Home Secretary Theresa May, asked about Ms Mohamed's remarks said: "I'm aware that there have been reports of a British woman being involved, but until we have seen the investigations completed it is not possible to give further details to confirm or deny that issue."

Responsibility for the attack has been claimed by al-Shabab - an Islamist group based in neighbouring Somalia, which is part of the al-Qaeda network.

'Animals'
Ms Mohamed's comments have fuelled speculation about the possible involvement in the attack of British terror suspect Samantha Lewthwaite - the widow of 7 July suicide bomber Germaine Lindsay.

She is known to be in East Africa and is wanted by Kenyan police over alleged links to a terrorist cell that planned to bomb the country's coast.

Ms Mohamed told the PBS NewsHour programme on Monday: "From the information that we have, two or three Americans [were involved] and I think, so far, I have heard of one Brit... a woman ... and I think she has done this many times before."

The Americans are believed to have been aged about 18 or 19, of Somali or Arab origin and lived in "Minnesota and one other place", she said.

Kenyan security forces say they have now taken control of all floors of the shopping centre in Nairobi, although an explosion and gunfire was heard from there on Tuesday morning.

The official death toll stands at 62, with more than 170 injured.

A UK man, who lost his young daughter, told the Daily Telegraph she was killed by "animals" who were using "religion as an excuse".

Louis Bawa, of Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, said he had spoken to his daughter Jennah, eight, and Kenyan-born wife Zahira on Friday but "didn't get a chance to catch up with them" again.

He said they had gone on a regular Saturday shopping trip to the Westgate centre, but added: "This time they didn't come home."

Architect Ross Langdon, who had British-Australian citizenship, has also been named as one of the UK victims although the Foreign Office is still not confirming identities.

Mr Langdon's company, Regional Associates, issued a tribute to him and said he had died alongside his pregnant partner, Elif Yavuz, a Dutch citizen.

According to the Sun newspaper, a four-year-old British boy, Elliott Prior, from Windsor, Berkshire, was among the survivors of the atrocity.

His mother Amber was reportedly shot in the leg, but was able to escape with Elliott and his sister Amelie, six, after the boy told one of the gunmen: "You're a very bad man."

And the Daily Mail reported that an off-duty British Special Air Services (SAS) soldier who was in the shopping centre at the time of the attack saved at least 100 lives.

The newspaper reported that the unnamed man went in and out of the Westgate centre a dozen times to rescue people.

'White widow' Samantha Lewthwaite 'was plotting to free Jermaine Grant'

Samantha Lewthwaite, the British terror suspect on the run in East Africa, was plotting an armed operation to free her accomplice Jermaine Grant from court custody, Kenya's state prosecutor said on Wednesday.

Grant, from Newham, east London, is on trial for planning explosives attacks on Kenya's coast, and prosecutors say he was working with Lewthwaite, the widow of the 7/7 Kings Cross bomber Germaine Lindsay.
Grant's case should now be moved to a high-security piracy court complex because of a new "security threat", Jacob Ondari, the deputy public prosecutor, told Mombasa magistrates' courts on Wednesday.
His co-accused, Fouad Manswab, is on the run from court bail and was working with Lewthwaite, who is also in hiding, to free Grant from Mombasa's main courts or as he was being brought there from prison, Mr Ondari said.
"We know that Fouad is in touch with Samantha Lewthwaite, and they were planning to rescue their accomplice," Mr Ondari told The Daily Telegraph outside court.
Extra armed guards were on patrol at Mombasa's magistrates' court on Wednesday as Grant arrived from the Shimo La Tewa prison.

The only time he was due to leave his cell for the next two months was on Wednesday and Thursday, for his scheduled court appearances.
"You can see we had extra preparations for security here today," Mr Ondari said.
One man allegedly linked to the operation was recently arrested in Mombasa with a grenade, and another was stopped crossing into Kenya from Tanzania with bullet-proof vests and face masks, Mr Ondari added.
"Under interrogation, they indicated that they were in Kenya to help with the mission to free Grant," he said.
Grant, 30, and Manswab, a Kenyan, were arrested in Mombasa in December 2011 and chemicals were found in their rented apartment that were identical to the ingredients Lindsay used to kill 26 people and himself on 7/7.
Under questioning, both men claimed they were acting under the direction of Lewthwaite, who later slipped a Kenyan police dragnet. It is understood they were planning to bomb tourist hotels near Mombasa.
Lewthwaite has been on the run for 15 months and is believed to be in Tanzania or Somalia.
She faces the same two charges as Grant and Manswab, which include "conspiracy to improvise an explosive device with the intent to cause harm to innocent civilians", according to Kenyan prosecutors.
Six Scotland Yard officers were due to testify against Grant on Wednesday but the proceedings were adjourned to allow the trial to move to the safer court.
The six detectives are now expected to appear when Grant's trial resumes – at the high-security court complex – on May 15.
Grant is in prison serving a three-year sentence after he was found guilty in 2010 for being in Kenya illegally.
He faces a separate charge linked to accusations he tried to flee from Kenya into Somalia dressed as a woman, and was then involved in a shoot out at a remote Kenyan police post when a squad vehicle was stolen.
His lawyer, Chacha Mwita, dismissed Mr Ondari's claim that Lewthwaite and Manswab were planning to try to free him.
"That's something I have only seen in the movies or on CSI," he said. "It's clear the prosecution is trying to puff up their case by making these outlandish claims."
Aggrey Adoli, the chief police officer of Kenya's coast province, confirmed the arrest at the country's border post with Tanzania of a man carrying bullet-proof vests.
But he denied that the arrest was linked to Lewthwaite or Grant's trial.

Nairobi Westgate attack: 'I helped save people'

Kenyan security forces say they have taken control of the Nairobi shopping centre attacked by Islamist militants.

An explosion and bursts of gunfire were heard coming from the complex on Tuesday morning.

Satpal Singh was in the mall and escaped before going back in to help others who were wounded.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast's Bill Turnbull, he described what happened when the gunfire started on Saturday morning.

Asked whether he had saved people's lives, Mr Singh said it was "a joint effort".
