Where is the Akal Takht Jathedar and Sant Samaj now? All anti-panthic from the start.

Here brave Bhai Manjhpur Singh who escaped arrest a few days ago and is calling out DGP Sumedh Saini fearlessly on the prisoners issue and how there's double standard going on.

The way the Sarkar are harrassing the Singhs, soon they will not have any Gurdwara that will host them. Pressure to silence the media was a clever move as everyone globally was using Sikh Channel for its daily digests.

Is there any news on the crew?

CHANDIGARH (January 11, 2015)—The call for Punjab Bandh, or General Strike, given by Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) and other Sikh organizations for the release of Sikh political prisoners received a huge response, except some places and no untoward incident was reported.

According to information available with Sikh24, the call received a huge response in many of the districts including Sri Amritsar Sahib, Patiala, Tarn Taran, and Gurdaspur. In some districts like Kapurthala, Jalandhar, and Faridkot people gave mixed response to the Bandh.

In Batala, clashes were reportedly held between police and Sikh youths who were protesting against injustice being committed by the government against Sikhs.

In Sri Amritsar Sahib, activists of Damdami Taksal (Ajnala), Sikh Youth Front, Sikh Youth Federation Bhindranwale, and Guru Granth Sahib Satkar Committee gathered at Ghanta Ghar Chowk near Sri Darbar Sahib and started a march, but police detained Damdami Taksal (Ajnala) chief Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, Sikh Youth Front president Dr. Sharanjit Singh Rataul, general secretary Bhai Papalpreet Singh, Navdeep Singh, Sukhdev Singh Nagoke, Harpal Singh, Ranjit Singh in order to halt the shutdown. Keeping them under detention the whole day, Police released the Sikh leaders in the evening.
