Be interesting to know the name of the Singh that trained Niddar. Surely there must be Singh's alive who knew his Gurdev and Taran Veer can interview people who did Sangat with this Baba and determine the truth. Though I do not agree with the 'Sanatan' BS that Niddar/Jagdeep/Parmjit spew and anti Sant Jarnail Singh rhetoric, more recorded interviews are required from elder Nihang Singhs to understand their thoughts. One video alone does not cut it but it is a good start.

If he claims no one knew his Master then what can one take from this other than he is hiding truths that may expose his warped ideologies.

Despite what we think of him as a person, he has some credit that a form of vidya and physical activity is being taught to otherwise couch potatoes.

Agree with Jonny 101 that his teaching form has changed over the years. His thoughts on the whole have remained static and therefore boring as he bangs on about the same old topics like a broken record in almost all his talks, even 20+ years later ie Gatka Bashing, Chatka Gatka, Pullling Takhur Sian (testes), Kakaars links to Hanuman and Krishan, Sant Jarnail Singh not consulting or listening to Santa Singh prior to the 84 attack and so on.

Why do jathebandis like AKJ and DDT dress up in nihang bana and wear farlas, they're not nihangs either.

Anyway back on topic, where in that video did the nihang jathebandis discuss nidars art form ? Did they say his art form is a fraud ? Did they say he doesn't have martial ability or knowledge of weaponry? Nope..

Yes, you are correct farla traditionally is only worn or bestowed on persons who have carried out years of sewa in the Nihang dal's, or historically bravery in battle having attained recognition / rank of akali nihang .

But in more recent times there are cases of people dressing up in nihang bana, adorning Farlas and aad chands ( half crescent ) on their dastaars without knowing their significance or historical meaning. Lots of parcharaks these days think a aad chand is a fashion statement.

true, it seams a lot of akhand kirtani jatha wear blue nihang bana with dhamalleh shaster etc...but the thing is they put emphasis on dress and kirtan..also ranjit singh dandraiwale does the same thing with his shardaloos...dress the part and sound good... ok lets set a match with ranjit singh dandriwala with niddar singh...cheleh must folllow the winner...lets make this happen..
