Is This Right? 'raab Ji'' Baba Harnam Singh Ji

Recommended Posts

Not as mythical as you seem to believe...

ਬਾਬਾ ਆਦਮ ਕਉ ਕਿਛੁ ਨਦਰਿ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥

He (God) bestowed His Grace on Adam, the father of mankind,

ਉਨਿ ਭੀ ਭਿਸਤਿ ਘਨੇਰੀ ਪਾਈ ॥੨॥

who then lived in paradise for a long time. ||2||

(Guru Granth Sahib : 1161)

"Baba Adam Ko Kicch Nadhar Dhikaaee"

Where is 'the father of mankind' written in that tuk? Also, where in Gurbani is it mentioned that a woman extracted from a rib partook of forbidden fruit?

There must have been a first man and a first woman. They are known to some as Adam and Eve. But this has no bearing on the validity of the other myths that circulate about them.

The creation myth of the Bible (one planet at the center of universe, created roughly six millenia past) directly contradicts Satguru Nanak's teaching that there are billions of worlds, as well as the universal timeline propounded by the Sikh religion (Kaljug alone lasts for millions of years, 6000 hardly covers it).

I was watching Sangat TV and a woman in conversation on it stated that Baba Harnam Ji [which she said he was 'RAAB JI''] to which I sniggered to because if she or anybody whom claims to be a Sikh would NEVER address a mortal being no matter how holy they were as GOD - Raab - as Gurbani frowns upon it. Anyway she then claimed he was the sixth Guru, Dhan Guru Hargobind Nirankar Ji reincarnated??!!

Now again, there are many holy people who repeat the name of God and preach, spread the word but nobody is worthy of being labeledd a living God. This is manmat and down to utter ignorance. _ This is not nindiya of preachers but there is a line and here it has been crossed.

You did not provide evidence of the woman saying they were incarnation of our sixth guru.

Baba Mahaharnam Singh ji were pooran Mahapurkh. All Bhagats are Akaal-roop/Guru roop.

Actually, I have noticed this a lot, the lot who seem to have some kind of 'allergy' with the word 'baba', are the ones who don't even do their nitnem.

How many banis do you read?

Do you do gurmantr or mool mntr abhiyaas?

Do you listen to Akhand path or do you do sehaj path?

If no, then seriously you need to basically sort yourselves first.

Where goes your stance against the actual fake gurus/Babey in Punjab?

How does one provide evidence of a live TV show? :s

Baba? nobody said the rejection is/was to Baba being used, but to say a mortal, no matter how much Nitnem one does is God, well that's just ludicrous. No Guru Sahib returns reincarnated, only the foolish illiterates will think they do.

My stance of so called babe/gurus etc in Punjab and world over is the same.

I never said he's referred to as father of mankind, but the mention of him in SGGS is proof he's acknowledged, regardless.
