Did Giani Gian Singh Change The Dhora 'guru Granth Ji Manyo Pargat Gura Ik Deh'

Does anybody know if this correct: Giani Gian Singh Change the Dhora 'guru granth ji manyo pargat gura ik deh' from 'Guru Khalsa Manyo Pargat Guru Ki Deh'

In one of the rehatnamas, the line is written as you have posted above. There are one or two rehatnamas which give slightly differing lines. Gyani Gyan Singh wrote his own.

It was always "Guru granth ji maneyo pargat guran ki deh".Nobody has changed it .It is as such .

This line was written in the 1880s. Since the Singh Sabha Lehar it has been adopted as part of the Ardas Dohra. So it has only been part of prayer for about 100 years give or take a decade.

Any vichaar on authenticity of rehitnamay?

From my personal point of view, I accept bhai nand lal jis rehitnama to be of greatest authenticity, and perhaps bhai daya singh rehitnama following but I am not sure of any rehitnama other than bhai nand lal ji

Any thoughts on rehitname by bhai desa singh, bhai chaupa singh, bhai sahib singh, bhai prahlad singh? Any others I am missing?

To my knowledge Bhai Jaita was a low caste Sikh who wasn't as influenced as some high caste Sikhs, like Chaupa Singh I think

To my knowledge I don't think it was controversial and it contained a more factual account (eg. Some accounts say a Devi came down during Vaisakhi but Bhai Jaita doesn't mention that at all)

No it's "Guru Granth Ji maneyo, Pargt Gura ki deh."

that one is recent, 19th century

giani gian singh wanted to elaborate further on the legitimacy of guru granth sahib jee maharaj being bestowed the gurgaddi and completely disavow all dehdhari shenanigans, so he changed the guru khalsa part as well

Nor does Sainapati's Gursobha. A good few other granths mention it though, but it only takes one interpolation for subsequent generations to copy down.
