I wear a samosa type dastaar and use full voile material. When the dastaar is new in the first few days dastaar looks very neat and thick larhs but the more I tie the dastaar the material gets softer and softer and the larhs no longer seem as if it is a full voile material as the material goes very soft. I have seen singhs with this type dastaar and theyre larhs are always thick. What can be done the pug so the material remains as new ?

I have heard of a cloth called rubia that I read is thicker. Seems like you prefer the starch, I hate it on the other hand. By samosa do you mean Englandi style lol?
