to fight lust, you may do pranayam yoga, as this balances the energies within us and increases the positive one.

Then keep in mind, that to fight lust, to do any jugtee, is like keeping a snake in a basket. The moment, it gets the slightest opportunity, it will surely bite you.

But then, Wahiguru has provided us with a weapon, which if used properly, it will surely kill that demon, as well as any other ones....

So, what is that weapon?

It is His simran.

The Bani says: Prabh Ka Simran, man kee mael jaae. (There is no other way). His Simran only, wipes away any filth on the mind, and for sure, lust or kaam, is filth as well also.

You see, almost nobody pays attention to what the Bani tells us to do clearly at all times, which is Sat Bachan, and which releases us from all maladies; but rather everyone is trying to fullfill the outer/gross aspects.

The thing is we are dumb, thus we cling and hold on to what we see and is perishable; but that which is eternal and subtle, we do not even look at, just because we are limited.

This also shows, how far we are from Gurmat, as per what our Guru Sahibans expected from us, as souls. Because Gurmat, is first for the freedom of the soul, and secondly to unite it with its origin, Wahiguru only.

Apart from this, Satnam; all else is maya, is koor.

So brother, hold strongly on the pallav of Naam, through Simran; then no kaam, no vikaar will ever bother you; because then, you and He, shall become Him alone through His Grace.

I was blessed with amrit roughly a month ago but two to three afterwards, I started indulging in lust again. I am about 16 now and started indulging in lust at around 10 to 11.

Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh! The problem is that's porn isn't the root of the problem; it's everything around it. Consider it like this, Kaam is seated on it's kingdom of Manmat as the boss, pornography and masturbation are only the servants of Kaam; (who happens to exist in your mind); if they see that you are fighting their boss directly; (even though it's going to be harder); they will naturally surrender. Also Kaam itself is simply a governor to Haumai; (who himself also exists in your mind); and if you were to fight Haumai directly; even kaam itself will start to surrender. Also know that they are frightened of the Gurmat; which is why they will attack even while you serve the Guru: Show them that even if they can win a few battles or even a few wars; in the end it is Guru who will put them to justice; (your king; whom Haumai just at the sight of the Guru, is destroyed). The solution is always keeping GurSikhi strong, even when it seems difficult, Aurangzeb and others have done their very best to destroy Sikhi; but they have all failed at the end. Many a times we are carried away by kaam without we being aware as fast as it attacks us.

I have also seen, we are at sometimes aware of this malady.

The solution to this is awareness, which can be be made stronger to an extent with practice. Because as i have said many a times, all vikaars, including this kaam, can only be subdued with His Grace, all other methods are transitory or let us say just an illusion ....

So , the awareness is first with we becoming conscious of being dragged by kaam, we have a guilty sensation which invades us, feeling like we have done something which is not correct.

So with practice, we have to become alert, for example just as when we know, we have been robbed by thieves at home several times. What do we do then, we see the time they enter usually, we pay more attention to the windows or doors, so that when they want to enter and steal again, we shall be waiting them with a baseball bat, and beat them.

So next time they want to enter our house, they know, what will they get, if they dare to enter, because now the house owner is alert.

In a similar way, when we see we are going to fall in kaam, we try to divert our attention to Simran for example, if not in mind, we may say it verbally louder until that kaam attack gets loose and fades away.

It may not be easy at first, I am saying from personal experience as a teenager, or a young man then also, but it is gradually that with persistence, it can be fought bravely.

Then too, never get in over confidence, that the battle is won, because it can attack when least expected . But we shall see by ourselves, that then, the frequency of these attacks get lesser and lesser with time, until, one day, with His apaar kirpa, we shall definetely win this paapee dusht kaam.

And this method of facing bravely kaam, can also be applied to the rest of the vikaars.

One more thing, His apaar kirpa, is not like that of a magic stick which is wavered, and we get it.

No.

Nothing like that. we would be fooling ourselves.

His kirpa, can be only be got by pleasing Him.

So the question is what to do, to please Him?

According to the Bani, it is to repeat His holy Naam....

Then not He blesses us with his kirpa, but with regular practice of this His Bhakti, He Himself gives Himself to us.

What else is then left to achieved?

Nothing.

For then, without any distinction, we have become one with Him.
