Do your parents even know this marriage is happening; it would lessen any future drama that might come of it. It will eventually be less about the fact that one person is a higher or lower caste; (man-made concept); and will turn into your parents not trusting you because of you not telling them just the basics of you getting married.

If you were issued a marriage certificate from gurdwara sahaib, then you can get your marriage registered legally BUT there may be some problem with legal stuff. You should consult a lawyer in that case. 

But if you don't have any proof in form.ofcertificate,etc. Then sorry to say its not legally valid. May waheguru help you.
