God as never listened to any ardaas my mum has made

Mum had asked for a great Mother-in-law, one that she would treat as her own mother, but it doesn't happen instead the mother in law treats her badly

Mum had asked for a son to look after the house after they die and to help us as a brother, but that didn't happen either

Asked for he Brother to have a son since they are in india to help out with the family, doesn't help instead God takes away her brother from her leaving two daughters behind one 9 years old and the other 7 years old

Mum wants her family in India to live a comfortable life after her brother dying but instead the family is getting poorer by the day and she has started to work  a lot while taking care of a family of 6

Mum had asked for the younger brother to come to the uk but the visa has been denied many times

God never listens to any of our prayers, making us have trust issues

Sometimes we have to have paitence . God knows best for us and we do get things we pray for, sometimes only when the time is right. It might be that in this life it isnt meant to be but youl be born again to get what you want.

Its best to ask for vaheguru himself, his naam and his love which is eternal and once you have that then nothing else will be needed.

Although all the above is easier said we have to all work to that level.

Ardas isnt reading out a shopping list of everything you want and sticking 50p in the golak ....then complaining nothings happened it aint a magic trick.

 Lol.

Do paath, go gurdwara and with full love and focus do seva, imorove lifestyle like being kind, living a truthful life, helping others. Then when God is pleased and when he so wishes he will bess you. Then one doesnt need to even ask, Vaheguru knows all our needs and wants

Have you guys listened to his instructions?  Do paath and listen carefully to what Guru Sahib is saying.  Start applying the teachings and Guru Sahib will do his kirpa on you.  Don't go to so called sants, babas, Brahmins, pandits, or practice any type of black magic, fasting, wearing certain things around the neck on wrist or fingers, etc.  Don't worship at certain babas place or anything.  Your only protector is Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji and no one else, no matter how much someone says, so and so has a high avastha, don't go to him.  All are frauds only Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji is the true giver.  Do paath of Sukhmani Sahib and afterwards do ardas with a clean heart.  Incorporate a shabad in your ardas.  Repeat the shabad with attention when your mind is doubting Guru Sahib and feels the need to utter the true words of the Guru.

Guest Anon Jee,

we must bear in mind that karam is a reality, which we almost never are consciouss about. Things do not happen casually. Maybe, we do not have that level of consciousness to see how the creation moves perfectly according to the laws of Nature.

Evry relation we have in this world, every interaction we have others, or even the smallest of the events of our own lives, are due to each one´s pre-tailored destiny, that also, due to our own past karmas. No life can exist without "karam".  If there is life, surely it is due to past karam.

Telling Wahiguru to do this or that, is not like having prepared food, and then while eating, we find that salt or sugar is missing, then we go and add the needed, and resume eating our meals according to our taste.

We are imperfect that is why we do not see the reality, and how creation works and moves accordingly and perfectly in communion with the laws of Nature. He is perfect and dayalu, why would He want ever want anything bad for us?

The Bani says: aapay bheejeh, apaay khaae.

Gurmat advises us to stay in His Bhaana, and if ever we have to do Ardaas, it should not be for any material things, but for that to love Him only, and get the strength from Him, to face our lives with dignity, so that our faith never shakes and puts us down.

The Shabad Keertan below, is an inspiration for us, as per what to ask in ardaas to Wahiguru Akal Purukh.

Sat Sree Akal.

God definately knows and listens to all, including ardaas. It's just that it is upto him to say yes or no. Sometimes the answer is yes but with some delay. For some the answer is "no" alot of the time. This is becase we all have different relationships with Vaheguru. Vaheguru also judges according to our past karam from countless lifetimes. So it's very complex. We cannot ever understand the way Vaheguru sees or judges things. Our job is to just keep hoping that he will show some mercy to us.

We are mere worms, we are truly powerless. We can only beg Vaheguru, it's upto him to accept our ardaas. The more pyaar we develop with Vaheguru the greater the chances of him saying "yes" to our ardaas. But it's still upto him.

We can only keep begging, there's nothing else we can do.

You have legs when so much of the world doesn't. You have arms when so much of the world dosen't. You have food when so much of the world doesn't. You have freedom when so much of the world dosen't. You can see when so much of the world doesn't. You have a roof over your head when so much of the world doesn't. At the end of the day HE has given us so much already that HE should, by rights, take some things away from us. He has given us too much. Thats why I strongly dislike the idea of asking for anything in ardas and absolutely detest the parcharaks that recruit amritdharis on the back of the promise of 'their desires coming true through prayer'. The truth of the matter is that the Sikh Ardas on its own has all the answers we need and the ability to provide everything we could possibly want. Its just that we as a people are not intelligent enough to understand that fact. The official Sikh Ardaas provides us with instruction of how to live and eat healthy,,,,,remain positive etc. By actually listening to the actual ardas we are provided with the tools to concentrate well in studies....have a healthy body....combat depression by releasing natural serotonin etc. The fact is you or your mother were asking for more when he had already given you more than most people on earth have. The laws of natural justice then took effect.

    • They are taking over from within. They knew in our Gurus time they couldn't win by force so now they're trying to come into countries acting all "working" and then they spread their faith from within. We were here long before them and the gorreh love us. They know we fought for them and that we are loyal, hardworking and truthful.  To them, anyone who doesn't "submit" (that's what muslim actually means) is an enemy. Just like Aurangzeb and Wazir Khan, all the way to when they would groom Apnian to convert them in London back in the 90s. They can make their prayers discreet but they CHOOSE not to. They want to "normalise" their faith. Once everyone's familiar with it then they will try to force it on people even more. Not many will convert to a completely foreign idea but one that everyone knows already may give them a chance
    • it was. Look up his picture he looks like the spawn of the devil, literally. I don't get scared easily but I actually had a jump scare googling him he looks like pure evil
    • Paaji if you look carefully when Southall was mainly Sikh (when the Sangat first settled) those areas were great. Ilford is a prime example. Today everyone knows that place is a dump but back when it was just apne and jews the place was spotless. Problem is in London, it's always Jews in an area first and the Sikhs come to stay for about 20 years. But then the <banned word filter activated> move in we all run like it's the plague (we all know why). Same thing happened to Southall, now we're losing it to Somalis rapidly. Issue is that Sikhs make an area good, but when the <banned word filter activated> come we all move and leave it for them to ruin. We need to flock an area and STICK TO IT like they do. Had Sikhs not left Ilford and sold houses to them It would still be okay.
    • Let them try to come for us. Guru Gobind Singh Ji maharaj gave us a Dastar to stand out and a shastar to defend it. Package deal. Singhs say in schools "another kid pulled my joora down" then I say "tere Shastar kithe si, Maharaj ne sanu ik talwar ditta si, pagg nu rakshe vaaste" We're Shastar dhari for a reason. To protect ourselves and others. And for Singhs in the region, what is stopping them getting 15-20 Singhs together and going down to protect our Gurdware and even other places of faith like we're meant to? Happened in Ilford back in like 2013 with the racist riots, a hundred Singhs and Kaurs flooded Karamsar Gurdwara to guard it. Sadly our Sardaari has been lost apparently.
    • We're still here bro don't worry 💪 . The Singhs on Reddit aren't as nice or knowledgeable as those on here, I don't really like them. For me, this site was a staple of London singhs back in the 2000s which I love. Back when we repped Patkas, Shahi Turbans and Dumalla Sahibs instead of a little black durag tied w a patka cos we're scared to look like real Singhs with a joora on our heads like Maharaj told us to and rep the panth
