KIRPAN ON AEROPLANE???

is it possible to wear a small kirpan on the aeroplane or not?

although ure question is more specific. the answer is no - u cant. only ones around ure neck but ne ishnaan kirpaanaa are not allowed at all.

there are minor tricks that you can use when trying to have a kirpan on the plane.

the only "trick" perse that i've ever heard that works is simply doing an ardaas that you just DO NOT want to be seperated from yuor srisahib...

apparently canadians have become more strict.. my dad flies almost every week...he practically KNOWS the security at the airport... but they still don't allow him even to wear the choti kirpaan around his neck....he's tried 5 times, each time he's had to give it up

what i do is i wear a smallllll (and i MEAN small) tiny tiny khanda.... roughly an inch... clearly not close to the same thing, but i guess i justify it by saying "well...it's got kirpaans on it"...iv'e tried attaching a bunch of things onto the necklace.. a tiny kanga... a tiny tiny kirpaan... sometimes i get rhgou, sometimes not.. but because the khanda isn't "usable", they don't really object to that.
