why do u say raam charitar manas instead of charitropakhyan which also contains the story?

Im not talking about Charitro Pakhyan. Im talking about Ram Charitr Manas which is a book written by Tulsi Das. It's the most popular version of Ramayan in India, it is largely written in Chaupi format.

When Guru ji says Natak and Chritr in that Tukh He is talking about the story that is contained in Hanuman Natak and Ram Charitr Manas which is the popular belief of how Dashrath ended up giving Kaikei her 2 promises during a Devta and Rakshas war but Guru ji says the real reason is something else. Guru ji has revealed the real story of Rama Avtar that is unknown and different from the story contained in Hanuman Natak, Ram Charitr Manas and Valmiki Ramayan.

I urge you to read the Punjabi translation. Don't read the English translation of Bani which can be confusing and misleading

charitropakhyan also contains a charitar of dashrath and kaikei.

so punjabi translation mentions raam charitar manas instead of charitropakhyan. is this punjabi translation of pandit narain singh?

what is ur view on Hanuman Natak?

shud Sikhs read it and do it's paath?

Yes it is by Pandit Narain Singh and he gives his comments on this. And Ram Charitr Manas mentions this story in detail which is why it was referred to along with Hunuman Natak as being not in line with the story told by Guru Gobind Singh ji of what really happened when Dashrath gave a vow to fulfill 2 promises to kaikei.

Hanuman Natak like all literature should be studied. But Ram Katha of Guru Gobind Singh ji has higher and more authoritative status for us above all other versions of the story of Ram since it is written by Guru ji. Rama Avtar Bani contains truths which was previously unknown in other versions or maybe it was suppressed. Guru ji tells the correct story in proper context of the Avtars. Some of those differences I have listed in one of my previous posts to you. Plus there is a Mahatam in reading the Rama Avtar Bani of Guru ji.

The Charitors are Mantri Bhoop Sanbhade, meaning that Guru ji is writing that it is coming from the mouth of the Mantri who is narrating the Charitors to the Raja in order to convince him to spare his son. While Chaubis Avtars is directly narrated by Guru ji.

pandit devi das taught Hanuman Natak to Sainapati jee?

what do u make of this Jonny veer?

They were scholars who read all these books as a part of their study curriculum. Even Kavi Santokh Singh ji wrote a book on Ram Charitr Manas which to my knowledge has never been printed yet. These Granths were essential for study of ancient scholars because they gave knowledge of poetry, pingal and itihas.

plz explain about this?

is this raam katha jug jug atal....

I read this in rehraas but never understood it's meaning.

This is the Bani Guru ji is referring to when he says Ram Katha jug jug Atal. And doing paath of this Bani Dukh and Paap does not come near.(Dookh Paap Teh Nikat Na Aavai).

Further more Guru Sahib also says this Bani was narrated by Vahuguru through Guru ji(Sri Aspan Kripa Tumri Kar, Mai Na Kahiyo Sabh Tohe Bkhaanyo)
