Paedophile Rochdale grooming gang member, 51, who got a 13-year-old girl pregnant argues he shouldn't be deported to Pakistan because his son needs a role model

  • Adil Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf have been told they will be deported to Pakistan
  • Since release from jail in 2016 they have fought a legal battle to remain in the UK
  • Father-of-five Khan says he must be a 'father figure' to teach 'right from wrong'

A member of the notorious Rochdale grooming gang has told a judge that he should not be deported back to Pakistan because his son needs a role model.

Adil Khan, 51, and Qari Abdul Rauf, 52, have been told they will be sent back to Pakistan for the good of the British public, after both were part of a gang convicted of a catalogue of serious sex offences in May 2012.

For two years from early 2008, girls as young as 12 were plied with alcohol and drugs and gang-raped in rooms above takeaway shops and ferried to different flats in taxis where cash was paid to use the girls.

Since release from jail on licence in 2016, they have fought a long legal battle against deportation - mounting multiple legal challenges and appeals - spanning several years on the grounds that deportation would interfere with their human rights.

But now both Khan and Rauf will finally hear if they can remain in the UK after a date for their deportation case was set for later this year.

Khan appeared at a final deportation hearing on Wednesday to argue he should not be deported, where Judge Charlotte Welsh asked him how his son might be affected if he was deported from the UK.

Khan, speaking through a Miripuri interpreter, replied: 'As you know, the father figure is very important in every culture in the world, to be a role model for the child, to tell him or her right from wrong.

Khan and Qari Abdul Rauf - who can still move freely around Rochdale - were among nine Asian men convicted for sex offences against vulnerable girls in 2012. Police fear as many as 47 victim may have been groomed by the gang.

Failure to deport any of the gang has led to widespread anger in Rochdale, where victims realised they had been living alongside their recently-released tormentors.

A string of Home Secretaries have also come under fire after being accused of failing to act after members of the group were ordered to be deported in 2015.

Khan also claimed he is not wanted by his family back in Pakistan because his notoriety would be bad for the business they own.

Failure to deport any of the grooming gang has led to anger in Rochdale, where victims were living alongside their tormentors, and has heaped public criticism on a number of home secretaries.

Khan got a 13-year-old girl pregnant, but denied he was the father, then met another girl, 15, and trafficked her to others using violence when she complained.

Rauf, a father-of-five, trafficked a 15-year-old girl for sex, driving her to secluded areas to have sex with her in his taxi and ferry her to a flat in Rochdale where he and others had sex with her.

Police said as many as 47 girls were groomed.

The appeal hearing against both men was adjourned until Thursday morning.

In a way "some" of the girls have to take responsibility. Some of them openly eloped with these Muslims on their own will.

The police said it themselves. It was fashionable for some of these goria to have an older Asian bf.

Many thought they were in love... Apnia can take a note of this next time they also find themselves in love and then cry when they get used and abused.

Anyways glad these scumbags all got lengthy sentences. Finnaly the police got the culprits. I bet these fools thought they could get away with it.

P.s I said "some" not all of them were like that.

Goreh need to rediscover that sense of community where someone's daughter is akin to their own. They've developed this insular mentality where they see other goreh as competition in every walk of life. It's strange.

Plus, how do 12 or 13 year old girls end up wandering the streets until the early hours? Even if they're in care, why are there not enforceable curfews for these vulnerable girls?

As much as Muzzies need to be castrated for their filth, gorah society needs to have a serious talk with its young girls. Sexual liberation and general attitudes to freedom have gone too far.

Come on man, these are 13 year old girls.  You have no clue at all at that age about the world and its dangers. You are a child at this age. This is paedophilia plain and simple. You can't blame the victims in cases like this.

And the 50 year old perverts knew what they were doing was wrong.

Of course I am not taking away any blame from the culprits. They are 100% to blame. But the girls and also their parents have to take some responsibility. They should have not gone anywhere near these scummy people in the first place.

They loved the excitement and attention they were getting. They should have been wiser and kept clear of them. As I said "some".

Not all were like that.

    • How is it going to help? The link is of a Sikh hunter. Fine, but what good does that do the lazy Sikh who ate khulla maas in a restaurant? By the way, for the OP, yes, it's against rehit to eat khulla maas.
    • Yeah, Sikhs should do bhog of food they eat. But the point of bhog is to only do bhog of food which is fit to be presented to Maharaj. It's not maryada to do bhog of khulla maas and pretend it's OK to eat. It's not. Come on, bro, you should know better than to bring this Sakhi into it. Is this Sikh in the restaurant accompanied by Guru Gobind Singh ji? Is he fighting a dharam yudh? Or is he merely filling his belly with the nearest restaurant?  Please don't make a mockery of our puratan Singhs' sacrifices by comparing them to lazy Sikhs who eat khulla maas.
    • Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
    • Instead of a 9 inch or larger kirpan, take a smaller kirpan and put it (without gatra) inside your smaller turban and tie the turban tightly. This keeps a kirpan on your person without interfering with the massage or alarming the masseuse. I'm not talking about a trinket but rather an actual small kirpan that fits in a sheath (you'll have to search to find one). As for ahem, "problems", you could get a male masseuse. I don't know where you are, but in most places there are professional masseuses who actually know what they are doing and can really relieve your muscle pains.
    • Good way of putting it, bro. One of the ongoing themes of Gurbani is the fake saint. Whether it's fake babas in Punjab or English-speaking personalities in the West, it's an continuing problem of religion through the centuries (and it's not exclusive to us by any means, this applies to all human societies).
