Better To Die Than To Live Alone Tulsee Das was a Hindu Saint and was blessed to write the Ramayan scriptures. When he was young he was devoted to reaching God and he struggled slowly on this path. When he got married he was head over heels in love with his beautiful wife, she became the sole reason for his living, everything he did was to please her. One day he surprised her with a gift - she was overwhelmed by his love and said, 'If you were devoted to God half as much as you are to me, I'm sure you would have reached God by now.' The words struck Tulsee Das to the core and his earlier life of devotion came flooding back to his mind, from that day on God became hi…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH Satguru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadhur Sahib Ji Maharaj was accompanied by a Sikh called Bhai Mihan Ji who was totally devoted to his service. He drew water, brought firewood from the forest, and performed the most menial offices for him. He always kept a cushion on his head for lifting buckets etc. It was continually wet from water dripping on it, and his head in consequence soon festered. One day as he was on the point of depositing a pitcher of water which he had brought, his cushion and turban fell off when maggots were seen to issue from a sore in his head. Guru Sahib's mother and wife observed this, and brought it to Guru Ji's n…

Came across this, thought I'd share with the sangat. The following letter of Bhai Mani Singh to Mata Sundar Kaur Ji (wife of Guru Gobind Singh Ji) clearly clarifies this subject that proves without any doubt that all the compiled `Banis` of the "Dasam Guru Granth` are the genuine `Banis` of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and not of his poets. The original letter is given here with Punjabi and English translation. The Punjabi clear version of the above original letter. Bhai Mani Singh,a playmate, classmate and devoted disciple of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji , and a top -ranking scholar of his time. He survived the Guru by many years and was martyred at Lahore. This is an histor…
