Hello, A friend sent this mail that I want to share with you. Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this happen?" (regarding the attacks on Sept. 11). Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives. And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?" In light o…

Here is a qwaal from Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan in praise of Sheikh Fareed Shakar Ganj - It has always been a favourite of mine - I love the use of Language and the way it builds up - wonderful ! It's from the Eid Concert held in Small Heath park , Birmingham UK in 1989 Mangabat-i-Fareed - in Praise of Fareed http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...49&hl=en-GB If you like this you will love the complete concert - it was shown on BBC 2 in 1989 - The video includes a brief intro about Sufi and qwaali - including a brief glimpse of Ajmer Shareef - and some great footage of devotees in 'Mastt'. The concert includes 'Allah hoo' , 'Mangabat-i- Fareed' , 'Mast Qal…

"They call me "a teacher, a fomenter of violence." I would say point blank, "That is a lie. I'm not for wanton violence, I'm for justice." I feel that if white people were attacked by Negroes — if the forces of law prove unable, or inadequate, or reluctant to protect those whites from those Negroes — then those white people should protect and defend themselves from those Negroes, using arms if necessary. And I feel that when the law fails to protect Negroes from whites' attacks, then those Negroes should use arms if necessary to defend themselves. "Malcolm X advocates armed Negroes!" What was wrong with that? I'll tell you what's wrong. I was a black man talking about phy…

WJKK WJKF I found this article while i was surfing on the Internet. It was on WWW.DUSHTDAMAN.com He hath Created millions of Krishnas like worms. He Created them, annihilated them, again destroyed them, still again Created them. Somewhere He hath created millions of servants like Krishna. Somewhere He hath effaced and then created (many) like Rama. ੧ (ਸ. ਹਜਾਰੇ) Ram and Rahim whose names you are uttering cant save you. This tragic excerpt is based on a true story. It is taken mid-story. The Singhs are in a Babbar training camp in Pakistan. Some Singhs have arrived from India and along with them are two survivors of the 1984 carnage in Delhi. This is their story: The atmosphere was silent like a city falls silent after a major storm. All the young men were staring with eyes wide. The Singh began, “First brothers, let us tell our story…” He was hanging his head, trying to hide the tears in his eyes from the other Singhs. “We both were originally from village Kamaalpura in Ludhiana. My name is Hari Singh and his name is Bhaag Singh. We both had a Transport company in Delhi. From childhoo…

WAHEGURU JI KA KHALSA WAHEGURU JI KI FATEH A man called Kalu once came before Satguru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj and asked guru sahib for the definition of a holy man. Guru Sahib said "Recognize him as holy in whom are to be found friend ship, sympathy, pleasure at the welfare of others, and dislike of evil company. In the first place, the intentions of holy men are pure. Secondly, they are pleased on hearing the praises of others. Thirdly, holy men serve the virtuous. Fourthly, they honour those who can impart to them learning and good counsel. Fifthly, as there is a periodical craving for food or intoxicants, so they feel a craving for the Guru's word an…
