I am reading Suraj Granth and it is beautiful with so much history but some less knowing people are turning to throw it away calling it Hindu and stuff. So if you know any sections or stories that are controversial say it and we can try to examine them. Gonna have Gurbilas Patshahi 6 and 10 soon. We can do the same for both of them.

This Granth is written by ex Jathedaar of Hazur Sahib. It is taught to students in hazuri taksal. It is written in beautiful poetry. It covers itihaas of hazur sahib from Guru Gobind Singh ji's time onwards. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_Hfpk2dXDxVAySPE1orvLnnlUtOkYiah/view?usp=drivesdk Thanks to abinash Mahapatra for sending the pdf.

Guru Nanak dev ji visited this place in 1506 AD and gave a karraa to villagers. Later a nihang Singh did sewa at this place and wrote a Pothi containing Chandi di vaar and other baanis. Even today 40 families in this village exist. They call themselves Sikhs but may be they hv started doing some Hindu things as they have lost contact with mainstream Sikhi for centuries.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XOmYKZJglvuihKsYRHk8hIWnPXSAtx32/view?usp=drivesdk Baba Thaan Singh was a great sikh. A Muslim admirer made a place for him in Attock in present day Pakistan. Later Maharaja Ranjit Singh changed this place into a Gurdwara Sahib where joint parkash of Guru Granth Sahib and Dasam Granth Sahib was done and jhatka was done regularly. In 1947, sikh Sangat brought the Dasam Bir to patiala where it was in parkash uptill 2012. In 2012 this birr was considered to be too old for parkash and a new Dasam bir was parkashed by Buddha dal and late Baba Mohan Singh of bhindran taksal. This old bir is still in the Gurdwara Sahib. The Gurdwa…

After the police got kicked out of the Singh Sabha Gurdwara last week, Sikhs have confronted the Gyani who did Ardas for Modi at Gurdwara Miri Piri in Southall. They also had a colourful talk with Jaswant Singh Thekadar one of the founders of Dal Khalsa who got political asylum in the 1980s in UK who runs the Gurdwara as a private company. It had charitable status between 2014-2016 when it was removed as a charity. Presumably it means that there is no oversight by the UK government of its activities and any Charawa of the goak would be taxed. The land for the Gurdwara was bought through funds donated by the Sikh community and subsequently Thekadar registered the land in h…

Sau sakhi hv different versions with differences. One of my friend's late Nanaji had some old books in his collection. He sent me a page from an old book. It mentions about the rule of a randdii(Indira gandhi) and a Khalsa making a fort in harmandir(sant Bhindranwale). It also mentions about Russia and China attacking India.

https://youtube.com/channel/UCxY6mmdPPW1o9MI85toAdVw This bibi is a good sikh girl and I like what she speaks but I fear she is setting a bad example for keski or Dastaar wearing girls. She uses lipstick and maybe other make up too and her clothes are too fashionable. I feel she wants to get popular and be like a celebrity. Someone shud advise her to be simple.

Sikhs don't worship cows but Sikhs love cows just as Sikhs love horses. During Guru Arjan dev ji's time, a place was created where cows were taken care of. This place was called 'beerr". Baba Buddha ji lived and did sewa at this place. Gurwinder Singh nangli ji has written a book on brahm kavach and bhagauti astotar. It can be downloaded at gurmatveechar.com under steeks and teekas section. In the starting of this book, nangli ji explains about the importance of cows from Guru Nanak Dev ji's time to Guru Gobind Singh ji's time and thereafter. I m attaching screenshots from this book.
