Gurfateh sangat ji didn't want to post this in the gupt forum as i dont think it requires me to be gupt but its been days now and the admins havn't validated my account yet (hello admins? anyone home?!?!). I have problems sitting and doing my 5 baaniya. I tryyyy, but can never get past half way through Jaap Sahib...I want to do all my nitnem but I duno what happens I just can't focus after an hour and still having half of jaap sahib, tavprasad savaiye chaupai sahib and anand sahib to do....I have a very very short attention span. Any ideas about how I can overcome this i feel sooooo terrible

just a question for the sangat. How much sleep does the body really need? weneneva i wake up for amritvela, i always find that i have to have a nap after simran or later in the day.bcos i just get 2 tired. but how much sleep does the body really need? do people actualy go 2 sleep at say 11pm wake up from amritvela, and stay awake till 11pm the next day?? for regular amrit vela wakers, wats ur sleep needs? patterns? this gupt sections perfect, cos u can b honest without seeming like ur boasting!

wjkkwjkf, I am a middle aged man just taken Amrit. I do nitnem daily but last night a bajar kurehit happened in my dream. I happened to be with another woman (unknown) . Guru Gobind Singh ji said not to share bed with other women, not even in dreams. What will happen to me? I am scared. I am sinned. Will Guru ever forgive me for this paap I have done? I have a one year old baby son . He has developed some rash on his scalp which is itchy red and sometimes water comes from it. The docter has given us various creams etc . Some of these have made a difference but my wife and family want to cut my sons hair so to put cream on direct. Any help with this ?

vjkkvjkf sangat jee. recently, i have been feeling very upset, extremely lonely and VERY sad. i cry alot most times....most times i use up 1 tissue box within the span of one night just crying crying crying...i can't stop these tears from clouding my eyes all the time...i try to hold them back but eventually i break down and cry. after each round of crying, i feel so guilty because as a sikh, even when faced with horrible tortures, our guruji, shaheedi singhs and singhnees never relented, much less cry like a weakling like i do most times. i feel none understand my pain and loneliness. i try to do paath but i find myself being so disillusioned. i'm at my wits end...total…

vjkk, vjkf dear sangat jee, From my limited understanding of sikhi, I have learnt that Vaheguru is beyond time(akaal moorat) Time is a part of maya just like space, in the spiritual journey we are all on, we have to go beyond trea gun, and achieve choutha path, sach kand, etc all these stages are beyond time and space. keeping this in mind, why do we have to do our nitnem at specific times, if the target is to reach a spiritual level that is beyond time. I made a very stupid mistake of going to Gurdwara 2-3 times will drunk , even the biggest alchoholics didn't dared to step in gurudware when they we drunk but I stupid guy still went their as I had to I knew I was going to gurudware but still I choose to drink alchohol hour before going there , I swear I have drinked only 4-5 times .its been 10 months since this has happened and whats more shameful is I m not guilty for doing it but feel more guilt if someone could found this out , I don't think alchohol is bad thing to drink ,I don't know how to deal with all this , I m afraid I will easily be thrown in this sharaab thing if it was not for my family ,I m just confused

back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well. -

Seriously?? The Dhadi is trying to be cute. For those who didn't get it, he said: "Some say Maharaj killed bakras (goats). Some say he cut the heads of the Panj Piyaras. The truth is that they weren't goats. It was she-goats (ਬਕਰੀਆਂ). He jhatka'd she-goats. Not he-goats." Wow. This is possibly the stupidest thing I've ever heard in relation to Sikhi.
