I need help regarding my dilemma. I met a transgender woman at a social event a few weeks ago and she told me I was very attractive and wanted to go out on a date with me. I told her she was a nice person but I am not attracted to transgender women. She then got furious and accused me of trans-phobia. A week after meeting her, she got a hold of my work place and started sending emails to my co-workers and boss saying that I am a pervert. What should I do?

Pardeep Attri The first step in liquidating a people is to erase its memory. Destroy its books, its culture, its history, Then have somebody write new books, manufacture a new culture, invent a new history. Before long the nation will begin to forget what it is and what it was. The world around it will forget even faster. The struggle of man against power is the struggle of memory against forgetting. - Milan Kundera. In the month June 2012, the Government of Punjab announced that it will set up a 'cow memorial' at a factory site in Joga town, Mansa District, where recovery of cow carcasses had sparked off riots. And a day after announcing a 'cow memorial', the Badal G…

Gurfathe Sangat ji, I have come to the conclusion that there is something going on with youtube. They are putting subliminal messages into video's without you knowing. Watching or even listening to youtube videos will affect you. Before anyone starts saying I'm paranoid, just try not watching for 1 week. Also anyone who is being effected by kaam/lust should stop watching youtube videos and tv also if this works for you please let sangat know on this thread. There are alot of good channels e.g rajoana tv, basics of sikhi etc doing sikhi parchaar but they need to find another way or site or maybe sikhsangat can do something so sangat can upload videos without youtube. …

Dealing with people 1 2

Vaheguru ji ka khalsa, Vaheguru ji ki fateh. I need serious Gurmat advice. There is one Singhni in particular who I have to see very often, and who I will be living with next year (I'm close to her family). It is very hard to put up with her. She has been brought up in a Gursikh family, but is not practicing Sikhi in the sense of having taken Amrit or doing Nitnem. She has had a very good upbringing, and has been spoilt with all the love and attention she could want. Now, as a young adult, she's self absorbed, temperamental and overly confident (ego). She is more concerned with popularity and taking pouty pictures than anything else. For example, she will constantly ta…

the first time I took Amrit, I was 5 years old. After plenty of mistakes and growing I had taken it again at the age of 12 from pressure (not all of it was bad but some auntiyan were really urging me to just do it even though my family was warning me of all my responsibilities) and just pure desire to want it. It was at a camp and they really motivate you well. I kept it up for a while and ended up doing many wrongful things afterwards. I’ve plucked my eyebrows because I started getting insecure and ashamed, and just some of my facial hair in general after I got judgemental comments even from my own mother who is Amritdhari, I’ve removed a small amount from legs a couple …

Hello... From my readings I understand God to be formless and genderless and incomprehensible. However, I have read in a couple placed that God created man in his image. How could humans be the image of God when God is formless and present in all of creation. To me it makes sense that God would be formless because this whole of creation is God and a manifestation of God. God isn't just a human figure sitting somewhere making the world go round. Can someone elaborate on this notion that God created humans in God's image? Thanks! Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh -I.

Urgent info/evidence on DSS 1 2

VJKK VJKF Dear All an organisation called Trees For Cities (T4C) is doing brilliant work in and around London. My husband and I went to support them last week only to find that members of Dera Sacha Sauda were there with a stall set up and literally a ton of volunteers all clad in exclusive DSS gear to help with the tree planting. Since I wrote to the organisers to explain who and what DSS stood for and wanted to know what their affiliation with T4C is, I also went into a bit of detail regarding DSS. Attached is their response. Does anyone have any substantial evidence/links I can share with them? A random DSS search results in that twat prancing around on stag…

Why are Deras succeeding so much? 1 2

Why are Deras seeing so much success in Punjab? My family particularly has been going to a small dera for generations and having recently gone back to Punjab, I've seen so much anti-gurmat things at these kind of places. I especially noticed that the Radha Soami dera leader has immense influence in the Doaba region. I see his photo in every other house/shop. Is there rise in power correlated to Sikhi getting weaker? Are there any ways to combat Deras in a non-Taliban approach? Lol. Is there a way to make the people understand and critically think why their supporting these Deras rather than going towards Sikhi? I've personally tried to point out the anti-gurmat ways of th…

Parent's are setting me back in my Sikhi 1 2

From a young age I was always active within my Gurdwara commuity, and with Maharaj's kirpa and my Mahapurakh's help, I have been able to retain that and also become Amritdhari. After I became amritdhari, I developed immense love for Maharaj, which my parents were unfamiliar with, and it seems as if whenever I want do to something Sikhi-related, they become reluctant and say 'focus on your exams'. Due to me having GCSE's coming up, I wanted to do a formal ardaas to Maharaj with a granthi and I asked my mom,(after doing around 2 hours of revision), if I could go, She went "whats an ardaas going to do for you, stop with all this nonsense and do revision". Sangat Ji, I need s…
