Wjkk Wjkf I've been paath for a few weeks now, and today i prayed waheguru ji that I want to become jivan mukhti and attach to him for the rest of my life, and I felt really connected to waheguru ji whilst listening to the sukhmani sahib paath, but then all of a sudden around 7 pm ish I kept on getting doubts 'about existance of God' Why has waheguru ji put such thoughts in my mind , I want to become closer to him not further Is God testing me? What do I do? How do I dispel doubt? I am not a amritdhari as yet due to the environment I live(no religous familily), but I seek to become one in the near furture. I would like help from all guruSikhs and the Sat sangat - …

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh! When having Ishnaan at Harmandir Sahib or any Sarovar, is it ok to have keshi ishnaan as well? Also, are there changing rooms. If not, what is the technique for changing out of wet Kacchery to dry ones while keeping your modesty intact? Hopefully will be going soon!!

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Whaeguru Ji Ki Fateh I tried searching this topic but since I am not a member it never let my search go throw. Also I tried recovering my lost password with no luck on this site so mods please let this question go throw as I will join into the discussion if I get any replies. Anyway I wanted to ask the question that Muslim’s say that Mohammed was the last prophet of God so what does that make our Guru's? Also they say the Quran is the last revelation of God so what does that make our Guru Granth Sahib Ji? Genuine question no offensive intended. If this has been discussed before you can just give me the link to the discussion. Waheguru Ji Ka Khals…

VJKK VJKF I am a 19 year old boy Sikh living in the UK and I have an issue when it comes to the topic of my dhari. It’s not that anybody says anything to me anymore it’s just that I don’t feel comfortable with it. I don’t feel like myself. I feel have to think twice before I do anything becasue I may give Sikhs a bad name. I feel like a hypocrite. I’ve talked to my family about shaving my dhari and everytime it comes up my Mum gets upset and so does my brother so to keep everyone happy I do what they want me to do and not shave. But I feel that this is emotional blackmail and that in the end I have no choice, I’m being treated like a puppet and they are pulling the str…

Issues in the Sikh Panth

How can we deal with issues facing the panth? Ignorant youth is a major one, parents are not putting Sikhi first. So many Sikh youth can't read Gurmukhi outside of Panjab, let alone understanding the message of Gurbani. Sikhs are adopting practices and ideologies against Sikhi, especially overseas. Seeing Sikhs like this is dispiriting for the future of the panth.
