   There is a serial on the Indian Channel Sahara One, (a show my parents watch ) called Kittu Sab Jaanti Hai, and it is about a lady name Bibi Amrit Kaur (I think they are acting out the whole Bibi Jagir Kaur thing) They keep showing Sikhs with kirpans killing other people, and Sikhs doing bad things. This is really p***ing me off. Is there anything we can do?

   i had this question.......you know like its said you shouldnt walk with your back against the guru granth sahib .... granth(h) saahib jee paas pt(h) kar bait(h) ae so thanakhaaheeaa Those who turn their back towards the Guru Granth Sahib while in It's presence will be punished. however some people argue that its ok due to the fact that you have to see where your walking..... confused :wub:

   waheguru ji ka khalsa sri waheguru ji ki fateh respected sanget ji kindly guide me abt ma problem ........coz m really screwed!! m a gursikh boy(non amritdhari...but keeps all rehat)and in my college i have a frnd ..my junior....she is completely religious and obviously a complete sikh!!!! now my pro is dat i have developed some feelings for her which m lil hesitant to say coz i don kno eat her rxn ll be an i don wanna disturb her at all costs....an also i don wan myself go stray from my faith........so kindly clerify me dat wats d place of these feelings in our religion... i shall be very thankfull to u waheguru ji ka khalsa sri waheguru ji ki fateh

    i wanted this question..... is it right when your parents raise their hand on you.....meaning do they have that right given by guru ji to raise their hand to thier children? ......i know it might be suprising to most of the sangat here and maybe abit embarising for me :wub: because my mum abuses me verbally aswell as physically over minor mistakes.......i know it might just sound like "yhh my mum slaps me aswelll".....but this matter is very frequent with me... but when she abuses me.......that question bugs me all night...and i try to convince myself by saying that shes bin through alot of stress and it might be that stress taking over her...but i cant deny the fact…

    WGJKK WGJKF my family's varna is chamaar...& all my life they'v brought me up 2 believe i am hindu n its sooooo stooopid n its got 2 th point where im REALY FRUSTRATED ABT THIS,i wanna crrryyyyy im not a hindu, we'r not hindu i havent got anything against Hinduism but thats not my religion, its not the path i choose 2 follow, it sooo messed up i even try askin my parents whats our religion/ dad just says u can listen 2 hindus and sikhs but not muslims!!!! what the helll!!! so they'r making out im "part" hindu, but there is NOTHIN HINDU abt MY LIFE!! we go 2 the GURDWARA, where we bow to the GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI,which is covered by a ROMALLA which is adorned …
