i have a problem... i cant sleep! i havnt slept in ages i seem to sleep roughly an hour a nite and have sharp pain in my head and seeing as i dont sleep i feel a wreck in the day n soo unlively which is not like me... Its a problem because i feel soo sleepy in the day and just want everything my way n be grumpy and fall asleep in lessons its a painn as i got exams and cousework to do. i do not smoke or drink soo i cant seem to think what it is... apart from a few thingz that may be on mynd but they're nothing major... if ne1 has anyy advice i wud much appriciate it...

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh I have been under a lot of stress lately, but am one of those people who tend to listen to others instead of talk. Yesterday morning, i woke up with pain going all through my body, and it is still here right now. I have not done sort of excerise or rigourous activity which would triger such pain. It is in my back, neck and shoulders, and i feel like i cant even move. Could it be that since my mind is undergoing so much stress that in order to reliease it my body is feeling so much pain? Wjkk Wjkf Lately I've bin into sikhi its bin lik a year now, and my frend hus not sikh, well shes one of my best frends for about 5 years and like shes goin on the rong path, mainly to do with guys and I've said to her that u shud stop and gave her advice and stuff but its bin gettin worse... :lol: and at first i cud nothing but worry about it but now its lik got to a point where i'm just absolutely disgusted , and i feel that i want to help her still but i dont want to be "affected" by da stuff she duz cos i no da ppl around uy affect wa u do n stuff.. so if ne1 cud help thank you soo much! I've been thinking, sometimes at night during the weekday you need to use the toilet at like 2am in the night when your parents and fmaily are asleep after a hard day at work. Well so you use the toilet and then you think should I flush it and maybe wake up/disturb people who are asleep or should I put the lid over the toilet and let the person who uses the toilet in the morning see the surprise? In both ways it would be selfish, which is the best often to do AS THE LAST RESORT!!!

Leaving aside Guru ji, the general question of taking afeem (opium) in limited quantities for war/medical wounds is simply unproblematic. When you go to the hospital, they give you morphine. What do you think morphine is? It's an opiate. Even codeine (cough syrup) is an opiate! Ever had a cough? Granted, it is against Gurmat to take opium or other drugs for the fun of it. -
Yeah, that's one possibility. Another I initially thought is that it's a Muslim trying to gather info. But then, you might ask, how does he know about Sikh textual sources. Well, you'd be surprised at their resourcefulness. A final possibility is he's a weak Sikh who was asked a question by a non-Sikh and now he's suddenly feverishly wondering where it's "written" that you can't marry a young child. To the latter, I would say, you're looking in the wrong spot. back then was waaaay different. ppl didn’t attend higher education or have much to do after the age of like… 13, lol. you’d have 13 year olds boys and girls that know how to do kethi, cook entire meals, etc nowadays even 22 year olds are extremely immature and can be sheltered. the average person doesn’t know how to do anything except their 9-5 which they are probably half arsing as well.
