its like this u didnt bring in the banana so u wouldnt have to offer it but guru ji al ready as mountains of bananas so he offered u one. I remember a story where a guy gifted sri guru nanak dev ji a diamond and guru ji told bhai lehna ( sri guru angad dev ji ) to go thorw it in the river and the guy said NO W8 Y THE DIAMOND SO RARE and when they went to the river the river was filled with diamonds and the guy realised that the guru already had everything .

I doubt the pathans could have conned an equine expert like Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He had an eye for a good horse. Conning him with a horse would be like me trying to pass off say Frank Bruno as Cassius Clay with Angelo Dundee.

The actual name of the horse was 'asp-e-Laila' . Asp is the Farsi word for 'horse' and as we Sikhs know the prefix 'e' in the middle of 2 words, as in 'shere-e-punjab' means 'of'...as in lion of punjab. Thus, the name of the horse translates as 'horse of laila'...i.e 'Laila's horse'. It was indeed a stallion.

I think they should put up a banner outside which reads Our people in the world have been closely watching your racist activities and figured out you are a close associate of the devil himself on this planet. We ask you to get an education and then a job as soon as possible otherwise one of our people is going to have to open a school for low lives like yourself. Don't attempt to relocate somewhere else in America to bother other Sikhs as we are already educating m0r0ns such as your group.

Teetotalism in the context of Sikh history probably refers to no use of intoxicants/drugs. It is well known the nihungs and other Sikh warrior orders use phaang (cannabis drink) when they go to war as it has proven medicinal qualities and gives the person a higher state of alertness and stamina.

Ghatak, can you please explain what you mean by that? Who has declared this? How do we know that what you are saying is actually the case? I'm not saying anything for or against Banda Singh Bahadur...just trying to understand the logic behind this statement.

i just complained to the sikh channel... although loved by most punjabi's, satinder sartaj is a close friend to gurdas man, both these poeple dont give two hoots about sikhi, and both believe in muslim fakirs, sikh channel today was promoting sartaj uk tour... sartaj was wearing a paki green phag and greeted sikh sangat with satsriakaal, followed by salaam (and then did the paki hand thing). i wouldnt have objected if this was on a punjab channel, but this happened on a uk based sikh channel... makes me sick.. i expect this off sangat tv not sikh channel. i have also heard sartaj often sits in congress rallys - is this true?
