Ontario sangat is blessed to have Sant Baba Hari Singh Randhawe Wale in Sri Guru Malton Singh Sabha. Last weekend there was a special edition of katha was performed by Baba ji. Since the lariwar katha of Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji was completed long time ago at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Malton but katha of Slok Mahalley 9, Mundawani and Ragmala was not completed. According to sampardiayak maryada 1 sri akahnd path sahib is recited at the starting of katha, 2nd sri akhand path when katha reaches the madh ( Middle) and 3rd sri akhand path sahib is recited when katha finished. It was 2 days special katha, 1st day Baba ji did an intro with history slok mahalley 9 which was very interesting with many gupt kautaks of guru sahib. In second day katha maha purash ji did many different meanings of katha done by other mahapurashs like Sany Gyani Gurbachan Singh ji. He also mentioned when he had a chance to have darshans of Bir of Guru Granth Sahib which was given Gurta Gaddi by Guru Gobind Singh ji and there he mentioned about Ragmala as well. I'd say that been given this life as a woman is a blessing and amazing gift from Mahraji. One reason been is (as mentioned in the Shabad posted by RavindaSingh) without woman there our panth couldn't grown as we wouldn't have little singhs/singhnees and without woman we wouldn't be alive today in a sense (if you get my gist). Been a woman is a powerful tool because its the mother who carries the child in her womb for 9months therefore its the woman who's Nitem/additional paat blesses the child and effects the child even before the child is brought into this world as Gurbani read and simran done before a childs birth is so important to the childs jeevan. For example (this is bit of a person belief from observation) if the mother to be listens to sing-songs, watches soaps all day etc the child is less likely to have sikhi pyare at a young age as the mother would be to interested in her soaps etc. But if the mother to be spent time doing paat etc the child from a baby will have pyare for sikhi (seen this myself with infants). sorry for rant and if iv said wrong.

Okayji paji onlyfive i Will listen to Bhai Gurdas ji's vaars. I understand that bit about sargun fully and agree with it and with charan da pahul, that sangat had amrit from the Gurus charan. Totally believe in that. But what i am saying is no human can be compared to our Gurus, therefore i feel it would be wrong for me to bow down to any human as god. Do satkaar of highly spiritual when one recognises their qualities, yes. But not replace them and forget god. I understand that god is in all, even bad people or evil is creation of god. But we are in this world to better ourselves and to control our mann from going to the bad side, eg: doing paap. Thank you for explaining the five elements bit, that's what i did not get.

there is a gurdwara called Kirpan Bhet, whch commemorates the sakhi of Guru Ji being stopped by the Moghals. Rattan Singh Bhangu has written on it in Panth Parkash, it is deffo worth a read, and this is the 1st that i have heard of Kirpan Bhet happening myself.

Mut pulo rai, that's the point I'm trying to make that even though there are all these differences still all apart from you and your particular sangat believe guru sahib gave charan amrit. Amrit through shabad? this is inner avastha, why don't some realise that there is outer sikhi and inner sikhi, both are required. By the way to get shabad one first has to become a sikh of the saadhguru, through initiation. There is physical amrit to drink which enters you into sikhi, there's also inner amrit. There is also amrit pervading everywhere. Who knows how many levels and countless gifts there there, only guru sahib does. Regarding dristhee there are various avasthas for the eyes, and you can interpret the tuks anyway you want. Eyes get darshan, one gets dib dristhee, eyes fill up with amrit etc Its true the more kmayee punj pyare have the more "kala" on amrit through their eyes, but the amrit is truly made by the 5 amrit baniyaa, this is the main ingredient. The kmayee of punj pyare just depend on your karma.

Yesterday I happened to watch “Sikh Channel” for a few minutes on internet. It was Visakhi celebration / parade being transmitted from somewhere. I saw a few “Khatta” coloured/ Bassanti colour turbans and even some “Nishan Sahibs” in that colour. I hope more people see that, and re-adopt that traditional colour instead of “Bhagwa_n Kesari / Spanish saffron” of BJP. . .

okay this is confusing now, so im going to just carry on doing what my mann thinks is right. everybody seems to have different thinking. And just hope waheguru leads me the right way, without listening to anybody.

amritsar is a sikh holy city. so, considering how the indian gov. hates sikhs, why would they want to help us by prohibting alcohol etc.? they want to mess the youth up in punjab so no one becomes a gursikh, i mean theres alcohol shops every mile in punjab. sant jarnail singh asked for this status many times i think. but why would the goverment listen to us?

Remember that Badal is pro Shiv Sena and anti-Sikh. That's why Gursikh boys were killed and Shiv Sainiks were not even injured. And guess who's the DGP-Sumedh Saini........its obvious who's blood is he after. Its only if Singhs take matter in their own hands that we can try to get rid of SS, but remember we will have lot more casualties and loss because of above mentioned reasons.

What West London Singh has done is just pointed out a fail safe fact that we had all missed. If all Sikhs signed up to it, it would work without doubt. Nobody would buy a product made by Nazis, so why should anybody buy products sold by the facist organisation, Shiv Sena. The Shiv Sena make even Nazis look like a Human Rights Origanisation!! Question is, how many of us will spread West London Singh's Solution to this problem of hate filled, evil, Shiv Sena?
