  1. Do you realize on absolute truth (essence of Gurmat) level - Satguru is universal eternal consciousness*(* check japji sahib teek by sant gurbachan singh bhindranwale) which exist in all of us so as far as i m concerned i don't think really sikhs or any religion, group, your garden variety of "ism"/belief system/ organized spiritual school of thoughts all kinds of rigid religious spiritual goons put together don't have any ownership on consciousness whatsoever as its not practically possible even if we think we do as pure eternal consciousness is changeless background- consciousness of all sentient being where thoughts arises and subsides ..!!

  2. You have to find something to replace the drink to look forward to. There are a lot of things you can do if you put your mind at it. Plan some tasks for the weekend, there is so much to do. Like I said before don't dwell what you are not able to do, but what you have achieved. You are going through a blip phase, it's normal. Sorry I keep asking this, do you think you need some counselling, as you are worried about when the month is over? The thought of doing paat is good, but when you are either reading or listening to it, try to understand the meanings of the Gurbani, rather than just reading. Do you like to sing while shabads are playing ? Don't worry about not having support of a wife. There are people who have spouses, but still don't get the support, so don't dwell on that. I understand about not having somebody to share your problems with. But if you work on yourself, and the problems you have with drink and drugs, then a respectable woman will be interested in marrying you too. Don't worry about not having anybody in real to talk too, the Pajis and penjis above are real people giving you advice too, so take honsla from that. Keep happy, motivated and stress free. ?? Waheguru.

  4. Sikhs stand up for injustice. Sikhs do not resort to (with all due respect) slandering or beating an old man because he hurt your feelings. Whatever you are planning to do to exact revenge on this man will not end well for you.

  5. The fan ovens, slightly over and it's all messed up. Tell me about it, the amount of times I've burnt the dinner lol. There's a Bisto onion gravy too. The normal one doesn't seem to have any meat in it, I use the normal one as the ingredients don't say non veg. But it does have some E numbers if you are avoiding them. There's a vegetable one too. Check out the ingredients of each one: http://www.bisto.co.uk/our-range/gravy-granules

  6. I think you need to give yourself some credit. You've had the mental strength to last this long. That is saying something. Personally, I feel that is one of the secrets. Teaching your brain (slowly, over time, to calm the eff down) what I've noticed after a few years of doing it now is that when my mind goes into a frenzy like you describe, simran helps to slow it down - now it doesn't always stop the thoughts running wild but it significantly clamps down on them to make me more calmer. Don't think you are alone in this, a lot of people have had the same experience. Another point you might want to reflect on is: If you don't get a grip on this lifestyle you're living, what kind of husband would you really make? How long would any decent girl stick around if her geezer is coming home lashed and/or charged up on charlie every other day? Then think about having kids and how that might effect them.... Make do with what support you get for now brother. Remember, before the Internet, you wouldn't even have this probably. Keep straight, and if Wahguru is going to send you someone else they will - if not they may be giving you 'tough love' to push you to learn self-reliance. All things said and done, I think you should be a bit kinder on yourself for having come so far. What I get from reading your posts is that there is someone back there who is capable of very difficult, critical self -examination and uncommonly brave honesty and independent thought. You might not recognise it, but these characteristics are rare, and you are blessed to have them bro. Keep your head up.

  7. Jesus blessed Guru Gobind Singh Jee? Insects like Jesus do not have the aukaat to bless Dashmesh pita. Its the other way around. Dashmesh pita created and destroyed countless insects like jesus.

  8. AKJ do naam and yes people get into the groove of naam japna and move head from side to side , jap loudly but that is a bit different from these guys as these guys follow a dehdhari guru not Gurbani alone.

  9. again har har jan dohe ik hai bib bicchar kacch nahi....to Know Akal Purakh is to be Him ...the corruptions that came after their lives are not because of their actions wholly otherwise they would be in lakh chaurasi as has been told to us by Guru Har Gobind ji instead of being seen by numerous brahmgianis (same with Mohammed ) that is also why we are told not to criticise the founders

  10. they are picking on all religions the idea is to remove moral and emotional supports for everyone that includes- education, family unit, moral codes, faith, optimism, and self-reliance . They know from our history that we will pick ourselves up dust off and resume the fight to succeed and bring others with us , in fact I would say because we do not comply with usual anti-others policy of other faiths , we can survive huge assaults , our spirit is always upwards focussed ...we are the anti-thesis of the person they want to manufacture the broken down drone for the new police superstate. I remember being given this book to read when I was ill by my racist (south African ) English Teacher ...it had the opposite effect http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/289571.The_Devil_s_Children

  13. This is my own personal story when I was 10 years of age. I used to visit our neighbours opposite the road to play int he evenings. These were cousins living together so altogether - there were about 7 of us and a beautifully wide place to play hide and seek. On this particular occasion - I decided to hide behind the house and the fence had just been trimmed. We wore rubber slippers and there was a big huge sharp thorn which I stepped on in my frenzy. I cried out and screamed and was in tears and the game was called to an end. Everyone tried pulling the thorn out to no avail. Was I doomed or what? We had to go to my home. I was limping and the whole gang of kids came with me. My mum was busy frying something on the gas so she could not stop and devote a minute to me. I think she did not even know what had happened. My dad had his head buried in the bonnet of his car and could not stop - maybe he did not even know what had happened because I always turned to my mum first. He may have thought the matter would be sorted out. There was not much communication between them both. So no one asked me what was wrong with me. So I sat down with my group of friends. The thorn was completely lodged in and would not budge even a little. I was in total distress. We were all giving up when one of my friends ( they were Hindus) said to me - take God's name - maybe it may help. In my frenzied mind I could only think of Mool mantar. My mum had taught me that and told me to repeat it. I did it when I was scared of anything. I had had enough of this shame. I felt so shy being the centre of all this attention from everyone especially the boys. I did not feel good sitting there crying in front of all my friends. Shutting my eyes - My focus was all on the words of the Mool mantar and my hands on the thorn. In fact I had only reached karta purakh... I did not even finish the Mool mantar when the thorn miraculously came out. It was as if another hand just pulled it out. I was recently narrating my experience to someone of little faith. All they could say is perhaps my bodily nerves all relaxed when I said the mool mantar and the thorn came out. (So why are other words not able to relax our bodies as much) If only the first words of the mool mantar can relax the body enough to pull out a thorn then what would the whole mool mantar do? Mool mantar is the name of God. Let us say it over and over again with full concentration. Forget the counting and devote time - that is one hour or 2 hours to the continuous recitation of mool mantar. We should not count that we said it this lakhs of times and these lakhs of times. That is ego, in my opinion. Let us aim to keep reciting it forever and ever, over and over again. Another experience was later on the next year. The teacher punished us all to go and kneel on the tarmac in the blazing hot sun in the afternoon and keep our hands straight up. It was hard. We had been making noise. Our hands kept slipping down. This is when I thought of mool mantar. When I said the mool mantar - the teacher looked out of the window and that is the time when I suddenly got the urge to raise my hands and keep them straight up. A message was sent with the names of those who had been keeping their hands straight up to return to the classroom. I was one of them, the others remained there. The mool mantar had saved me once again.

  15. thing is the pontiff is God's representative on Earth according to Roman Catholic ...Jesus did not create this whole BS organisation, it takes humans very far frm his message which was Ik Akal Purakh , the old rules of Judea were over and the new ten commandments were detailed further , Jesus refers to himself as Das of Akal Purakh , he never claims virgin birth etc (that has parallels in babylonian religion based on Gods and Godesses) The jathedars are not representatives of Akal Purakh ... the Panj Piarey are the only thing close but then again in Sikhi it is all Guru Sahiban/AkalPurakh /Guru Granth Sahib ji and Guru Khalsa Panth which are one and same . Depending on interpretation Muslim leaders you mentioned were rewarded for increasing ummah and bringing booty for cleansing at Kaaba (Which Dhan Dhan Guru Nanak DEv ji told Iman Raq uddin did not make it parwan to Akal Purakh) and they stoned the iman to death , not only Pir Buddhu Shah but also his sons and 700 of his followers died.

  18. Are you annoyed by the implication by Kultar Singh that Guru Gobind Singh was not a Punjabi, or because your amateurish grasp of language leads you to conclude (wrongly) that saying Guru Ji was born outside of the Punjab, like Kejriwal, suggests that the two are equals? Let me explain with an example - I eat food. As it happens, Guru Sahib also ate food when they were in human form. My pointing this out does not mean I am attempting to draw some equivalence between myself and Guru Sahib. This proves yet again that you can always count on our lot to be manipulated by their devious elected officials into seeing beadbi where there is none. This video is on a channel called Akali Awaaz, can't you see it is propaganda by the SAD to discredit the AAP? And you're eating it right up. And what the hell is with those stupid, sarcastic speech marks? Kultar "Singh"? Twice? The mundane comments in the video above are seriously enough for you to call another Sikh's faith into question? Is that all it takes? This is why panthic ekta won't happen any time soon - because so many Sikhs are willing to disown their own brothers and sisters in faith over NOTHING, over the dumbest most trivial bullsh1t.

  20. http://www.sikhsangat.com/index.php?/topic/77901-a-very-worrying-and-disturbing-question-needing-to-be-answered/ This topic has been discussed here in depth. There is a line in Gurbani which says mukti cannot be obtained by dancing and jumping. I will post when I find it.
