  1. This quote probably was the most used quote on social media last year and the year before, mainly by females (its true) and its not even guru nanak dev jis words.

  2. What? Really? Seriously, though, I have to constantly remind myself to figure out whether what you're saying pertains to you specifically, or it's a point that you're making, lol.

  3. Subtext: I've slept with men outside of my faith and race. You're a bigot for judging me. Here's a fake meme that I'll try to gaslight people into believing is fact in order to assuage that little voice in my head telling me I did wrong. ?? That's the inner mental landscape of the average Sikh female under the age of 25. It's not too complex.

  4. It is not a matter of a big or a small religion as per one of your comments above. Religion is not like politics where the numbers do count to govern. Religion is more a matter of spirituality or divinity and one being drawn towards it, and above all being human beings, not fanatics nor terrorists, or inflicting pain and injustice on all others who do not agree with their faith. This attitude is utter madness and regression in almost all fields. Sikhee as per teachings of Guru Sahiban and Bhagat Jan, are more noble, humanitarian, which brings positive balance in our lives, and through love and devotion to that UniversalTimelss Truth, reunites the soul to its Origin, Waheguru. Regarding the other point of what happens to the people of other faiths.... Well that much can be said, that they are bound by their karam, unless some day they are fortunate enough to come and derive the most of benefits and goodness, from the teachings of Sikhee.

  5. well I wouldn't know. Nor am I amritdhari nor am I married. But I would expect that love and lust are two different things even when it comes to physical human relationship. Right? Or maybe both persons in relationship have to be at a high level to differentiate between lust and love and act accordingly.? and if we are on this topic, is it not lust to use a natural mechanism, that is meant for procreation, to get the pleasure, and at the end simply pull out (sorry for being explicit). Is there a difference between making love and fu**ing?

  6. One should remember that if one is a sikh of the Guru, and moreover Amritdhari, one's goal is to stay away as much as possible from the 5 vikars, and gradually with His bhakti nullify the mind, consequently the vikars. Our relation with Guru Jee and Waheguru is above any other relations. Why do not try and substitute kamee impulses with devotional thoughts and focused mind on the Lotus Feet of Waheguru. Give it a throughly thought bro... Saas saas simro Gobind. Try and love Waheguru. And you shall be ferried across the Mahabhavsagar. What else is then left to be achieved? Nothing.

  7. You are using this website as a platform to vomit your nonsense and disrespect almost all members who do not match with your *views. You use Gurbani to try to impose your own manmat, which by itself is a biggest disrespect towards Guru Jee and Waheguru. Shame on you.

  8. Do not worry at all. The only one hysterical above is creating one more of his countless scenes. He keeps on continuously bullying, disrespectful and insulting the rest of the members.... Why is this permitted? He is harming this beautiful website with his toxic nonsense. Shame on him, and shame on those who do nothing to stop him for once and ever, unless he learns to respect all the members. Can't anbody see how he keeps on bullying here? Just pathetic...

  9. From my limited understanding, Guru Hargobind Sahib started the shaheedi degh and Budha Dal was also formed by Miri Piri de maalak. Shaheedi degh has tremendous medicinal benefits and it also aids in simran.

  10. At the risk of repeating myself I've been a vegetarian since birth, but I also appreciate there are certain traditions in Sikhi outside of my worldview that are just as valid as my own. It's the "for the greater good" attitude that's quite concerning; the rewriting of history to fit a particular narrative even if the particular "victim" of such modifications is the objective Truth. I'd never consume shaheedi degh because I cannot justify such a thing spiritually or physically (in terms of ingesting it), but if it is a valid tradition with historical and religious precedence, then why not keep it alive to lend our faith that more colour and variety? Depends on the reasons to be fair. Getting high off it is questionable at best. I don't know enough about it.

  11. Very soon the pro vegetarian anti jhatka anti Sukh nidaan modern era post Anglo Sikh wars non authentic jathas will arrive on this thread to vigorously deny Sikhs ever used cannabis and poppy seeds.... They will be most angry with they're blunt kirpanas, they may even attempt to hunt you down for suggesting Sikhs ever partook in such activities...they may even try and beat you up with their spinning in the air coordinated bhangra stick dance aka gatka
