  1. Nice post. However, how much skin are these women really showing, and are you the Guru to dictate what they do. Humans are free to do what they want. Obviously walking around in a bra and nickers is wrong. But dictating that women cover their arms and legs etc, is wrong. That’s a very Muslim way of thinking. Women in India have historically worn Tiny saris etc. And who cares what they do. There is taking it too far Ie walking around in your underwear, and there isn’t. But the internal rehit is just as important. Guru Ji wasn’t saying cover up completely, he was saying don’t walk around in your undergarments.

  3. That is why doing meditating on naam ,ardaas and paath such as Chaupai Sahib on a daily basis is so important. You re-wire your mind, get the frequencies working and you consciously make affirmations in your aardas so that the universe hears as well as Maharaj. If someone tries the voodoo, it helps to mitigate their attempts. When I am home, I normally play bani at the home. Not for myself, I do it for the spirits and the other forms of energy that might be entering in our realm so that they can be blessed by our Guru's grace.

  4. What a ridiculous post. These women are not walking around naked. Humans have far too much time to try and find silly faults with others and judge them rather than focus on their own paths. This is the reason why hardly anyone is living in a state of Jivan mukht. Post Modern Nihlism of the west? What about the women wearing the tiniest saris in the east? You’re living in the past and you have a very Islamic mindset. A lot of people on here do. Materialistic and shallow, judging the external so harshly and unfairly. You claim not to be part of the false and shallow Image Obsessed society, but you’re deep down stuck in it.

  9. some years back, a Bengali student was pursuing PhD at PAU Ludhiana, Punjab. He began to hv phulwari(vitilogo) disease. He started to worry and could not concentrate on his PhD due to which his professor got angry at him. Slowly he started to suffer from depression. He went to a local hindu temple and asked the pandit there for help. Pandit told him to do gayatri mantar daily for 90 minutes and all his problems will be solved. He started doing that but nuthing changed and few months later his professor told him to leave his PhD and go home. He almost started crying and an amritdhari Singh who was pursuing masters in the same department saw him crying and asked him the reason. He told his entire story to the Singh. Singh told him that u hv tried hindu gayatri mantar, now u try the sikh gayatri mantar. He started doing the sikh gayatri mantar for 90 minutes daily and started experiencing peace in his mind. His depression began to cure and he started to concentrate on his PhD. Within 4 months his vitiligo disease also got cured and he started to do sikh gayatri mantar for 4 hours daily. In some months time he completed his PhD and got a nice job too. He thanked the Singh and told him that as long as he lives he will do jaap of sikh gayatri mantar.

  10. Yes, and when a pandit, maulvi, witch, witch-doctor, etc., get involved, they bind these entities to a person -- by creating a link between our plane of existence and that other plane where these "things" exist, causing these lifeforms to do the bidding of the sorceror. This is done through physical means (ingestion of a concoction administered orally, which has been created using spells specifically catered to target the victim; much more damaging, and way more difficult to remove), or through performing spells at a distance using a combination of ancient numerological techniques (which is why a person's name and birth-date is important). It really is quite remarkable, and if someone is determined to get you, there's nothing you can do aside from take it like a champ, and hope you find out what's been done to you. Of course, things like spiritual kamaiy help minimise the affects of these things, or in some cases the individual finds a way out quicker than someone, for example, who is steeped in maya and has no interest in spiritual issues. The so-called best and most damnable trick that's been played on humanity is that we've been lead to believe these occurences are superstitions; a sign of an unsophisticated and backwards mind. They've lowered our defences so that we're easier to control. It's everywhere. Music and films. Symbolism. Frequencies and waveforms. Scents and aromas.

  12. I rarely get angry, but last week I was in a bad mood for almost an entire day just thinking about this. All the bs that the Indian government has done to Sikhs, and with the #FreeJaggiNow that is going on and the government denying everything....it was driving me insane too. I learned to use this as motivation, inspiration. We need to be active in our societies, to pursue careers, fields, networks, friends, connections that are expansive and either give us power to change things or connect us with those who already have it. We can't change what happened. But we can make sure that others KNOW about it, and honor the deaths of those Sikhs by fighting every piece of injustice that we see going on today and being successful in our efforts. Our success is their success. Let karma work out the past, and let yourself never allow that past to replay in the present. That's all we can do...I think.

  14. Funny thing is how they are embarrassed so they say your supposed to beat lightly lol! it doesn't say "lightly" it just says beat/strike Embarrassed they say you supposed tap your wife with a small stick or toothbrush, but there is a hadith where muhammeds wife Aisha narrates how he hit her on the chest and she felt pain! so clearly its not supposed to be lightly! as the prophet himself hit his wife hard and not tapped her lightly with a twig!

  15. Thats the long age old "west is best" while everything else is backwards, barbaric and outdated narrative that the western media has been pushing for a very long time. Their fav story for dramas is normally a ethnic woman who finds "freedom" once she meets white friends and a white boyfriend. Watched a drama in netflix a few months back set in the orthodox Jewish community in Brooklyn and once again its about a young woman who escapes the community and a white guy comes to the rescue, gives her freedom and becomes her boyfriend. Once again ethnic community are the backwards people, while the white west is the way to freedom, the beacon of morality and virtue. Well if that's the case then why is domestic violence so high in the White community? depression, suicide, kids in care homes, divorce, unfaithful partners, kids by different men etc why does all this exist in high numbers in the west then? if they have the right way, if they have created the right model of family, society and community then why does all that exist in their people? Even their 4th marriage goes down the toilet and ends up in divorce. Its a narrative that West media loves pushing. Nothing against White people, people can date and marry whoever they like but this constant telling that our ways are backwards and wrong while their way is the progressive way is very annoying, You just need to look at the news and take a good look around and see what good their way has done! its a mess! Domestic violence since lock down has reached new heights. People from ethnic communities that don't think for themselves, have a sponge for a brain, they normally let media think for them and let media set the standards. they let media tell them whats right and whats wrong, Ethnic people who actually think for themselves and don't let the media brainwash them and mold their thought they don't fall for that Western media propaganda BS Western society is so cold, lonely and soulless, everyone is self centered. There is no such think as community.

  18. And this is exactly why no one should be banned or blocked. They're more than capable of destroying themselves?. Because if they were to apply the same criticism to themselves, their house of cards would come crashing down.

  20. You are right. This is internal rehit. Where one controls thoughts and vikaars. This is very important on the spiritual path. But there is also external rehit. And there is also the worldly path. As sikhs we are meant to be successful in both. You cant tell spiritual beginners, that nothing matters. Everything and Everyone is one. It will not enlighten them but leave them lost and defenseless against maya and the predatory ppl. This is what the west is doing, telling kids there is no gender, its all a man made construct. This leaves kids lost and confused. Money is also a man made concept. But very real and important. Once kids understand gender, money and how it works in the world. Only then can you explain its real value is nothing and how ephemeral it is. Similarily, external rehit is important. It helps with the internal rehit esp in the beginning when the internal rehit is weak. The states you are talking about are goal posts where we hope to be someday. Seeing everyone as brother, sisters, seeing the one in all. They are not the beginning. Of course we should strive for that, but we will fail many times. Many sakhis illustrate that the gurus encouraged external rehit even in spiritually advanced people. 1. Baba Budha ji had reached brahmgian and sikhs complained that baba budha ji no longer came to the river to do ishnaan. Guruji showed the sikhs that ganga itself came to bathe babaji. But still guruji told babaji that he should still go to the river to fo ishnaan. even though he did not need it, rehit was important to keep up. So as to not discourage other sikhs on the paath and to follow the gurus hukum. 2. The third guru had outlawed veils for woman. And stated all women must uncover their face when doing darshan. Some princess did not follow this rule and she faced dire consequences. (From what i remember she went crazy). So you see the Guru did care about personal appearances. And telling women not to wear a veil was huge as it was common in hindus and muslims. Lest you think this supports your view: 3. When Mata Bhago reached brahm gian, she woukd wear a kasher and nothing else. Guru ji also commanded her to cover herself, even though she was beyond the body and had no care of it. Guruji said its important to cover up. Also, while we control our lust, evolve our psychology and move forward, its important to get young people to ask themselves why they are following harmful societal trends. Why they think dressing inappropriately is important to them, what motivated them? Because we have a duty to not only our soul, but to the panth as well. To help it stay niara (unique) from society and in chardi kaka ( uplifted from the maladies that affect normal society)

  21. No educate yourself by reading sakhis and gurbani. Put the effort in to learn what you don’t understand independently. It’s your path and yours alone. The gyan is there for your taking, served to you on a plate by the Gurus.

I know its hard to swallow but these ppl have the western world by the b*lls. They are corrupting our loved ones through media brainwashing and schools. Its not just limited to the west even in india and i have a feeling even in some middle eastern countries this disease is slowly taking root through american influence

  24. Sat1 ji, I don't see what kuldip ji said that you would consider sexist. A Gurdwara is not a place for inappropriate dressing sense. Bani has made it clear that a woman who is proud of her body and shows off her body by dressing inappropriately is a Gavaar since that body will one day be turned to ash. This is not sexist, it is the truth. Does it make sense to wear skintight leggings in a Gurdwara and matha tek in front of the congregation? Your concept of equality between the sexes is that a woman should be able to do all the things (good or bad) that a man does and in this way you justify women dressing inappropriately. This is post modern nihilism of the west. We don't subscribe to this line of thinking. A Sikh lives according to Maryadha. The ideal dress for a Sikh is Bana, but if one wears something other than Bana it should not be inappropriate.
