  1. Yes and no. What you need to understand is, in the Gita, when Bhagwan Sri Krishan Ji Maharaj says that they are everything, they are not speaking as Vasudev Krishan Yadav from Gokul. They are speaking as aatam-swaroop (Man tu jot saroop hai, apna mool pachhaan). We need to stop viewing these things with an Abrahamic mindset, then we'll find there are actually no contradictions here...
  2. I've seen people suggesting that Dasam and Sarbloh Guru Darbar should be prakash on a lower level than Aad Guru Darbar, even by a couple of inches. My question to them is, what difference is that couple of inches going to make exactly ??
  3. Yes, seen this and reported it. However, they just set up a new account. But definitely keep reporting these. One thing I would like to say though. Please do not create accounts in retaliation to these which mock Hinduism. I've seen one account which does that, and one of the comments is "but they did it first". Please don't stoop to their level. By all means report these accounts etc. But don't be childish. If a dog bites you, doesn’t mean you go bite the dog.
  4. Let me put the question another way: Aad Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji has the Guruship. Does this mean that you would treat the Dasam and Sarbloh Guru Darbar with any less respect? If yes, then how?
  5. I wear both. I always wear my normal thin one. And whenever I leave the house, I wear my jungi karas. In terms of the airport, I put my big ones in the suitcase and only keep the thin one on.
  6. No, only Gurbani. The concept that Aad Dasam Sarbloh Guru Darbar are all complete and Guru Saroop. If anyone has the writing by Kesar Singh Chhibar regarding this please could you post it here? It will help clear things up.
  7. It would not be wise, especially as we hold no actual sovereignty over any land.
  8. Well, let me put it this way. It all depends if you see a difference between then. Aad Guru Darbar was referred to as "Guru Granth " since time of Guru Arjan Paatshaah. The other way to look at it is this: the 10th Guru gave Gurgaddi to the Guru Khalsa Panth (once in Chamkaur, once in Nanded). Now, the Guru Khalsa Panth, being the Guru, has the authority to vest the same Guruship and authority as Aad Guru Darbar. Just as Guru Nanak Maharaj wrote Jap Ji, in their 10th form they wrote Jaap Sahib. Same thing, no difference. Lastly, respecting Dasam and Sarbloh like this takes nothing away from the respect and worship of the Aad Guru Darbar. Akaal.
  9. Aad, Dasam and Sarbloh Guru Granth Sahib Ji, three separate Granths, are all treated the same by the Khalsa. Aad Guru Darbar is the (Tikka) Guru, and Dasam and Sarbloh, being the baani of 10th Guru, are given the same respect/worship.
  10. Without turning this in to a meat/vegetarian debate, there is mention of Guru Nanak Dev Ji being served goat at kurukshetra during an eclipse. However, some say that when Guru Sahib cooked this goat, it turned in to kheer. So, make of that what you will.... (Sri Nanak Prakash)
  11. I've heard a few variations of this: Guru panth ji maniyo, pragat hamaari deh. Jo hum ko milbo chahe, khoj inhee me leh. Guru Granth Ji maniyo, pragat guraa ki deh. Jaa kaa hirdaa shudh hai, khoj shabad me leh.

  19. Darshan will not happen by force, but with patience and correct practice. A saying Mahapursh have used is "Mukti jugti naal mildi hai, dhake naal ni mildi". Liberation is achieved by correct method (and patience), not with force. These things take time. Impatience can be the biggest vice on this path. Just like a river flows to meet with the ocean. It does not care how long it takes. All it knows is that it has to keep going until it meets with the ocean. "Nadia ate vaah, pavhe samund na janiahe". Keep going and do not stop. That is all??.
