I think if we succeed in doing one either sant or sipahi, then its a start. The sampradaiye that specialise either in sant or sipahi are rejected or invisible to the mainstream sangat, and those of us that try to do both together fail miserably!

alot of these sikh girls got no respect for turbans so obviously they are going to go with pakistani males. Anyway, some muslims are safe others are evil, same with sikhs. Be safe but keep an eye out. I am completely unhappy with what the muslims have done to the British food chain, I have to be careful in what I eat now, are the muslims helping us with this?

One of the biggest matrimonial programmes are at the Havelock Southall Singh Sabha gurdwara! We need to instigate some sort of monitoring on these matrimonials. The Uncle jee sevadaars are Sardars there but I have not seen any regular young sardar sewadaars on the programme. But this should not happen in sacred places like gurdwaras. I cannot believe no one is talking about this issue?!

This is a grave issue. Gurdwara matrimonials need to be monitored, there is a lot of hate being spread against turbans from female sikhs sections in many gurdwaras around West London, and possibly others as well. Please keep a vigilant eye, we cannot let this hate happen in sacred Gurdwaras. Gurdwara is not the place for turban to be disrespected, why are we letting this happen on such a large scale? Gurdwara is about peace and love, and also we need to promote this respect for turban among punjabis and beyond. How is there so much hate for turban in gurdwara lists? This will really really badly effect preserving the turban in our community if we don;t do something, anything! This is beadbi to the grandest scale!

these events don't happen at the gurdwara so don't worry. The thing to worry about I have seen on the list is that even though its a gurdwara matrimonial, most of the "sikh girls" are totally against the turban. Now this is happening at a gurdwara, is this not cause for concern?
