Fateh yes i can see what u are saying about keeping rehit....i cant remember the exact date perhaps sum1 with more knowledge of this event can shed light on it but Shaheed Bundha Singh Bahadur and his men were trapped/under seige in a fort (i think it was lohgarh) and they were there for i think 7 months with the mughals waiting for them outside....the sikhs inside ate the grass...the bark on the trees and then wen nothing else was left some of them decided to kill an ox whilst others remained veggie and instead of taking anothers life they cut there own thighs and eat their own meat and they still came out fighting!....these brave sikhs were put to the sword in dehli 100 by the day and it took only 7 days and they were all shaheed. My tabla teacher also told me a story of a singh who fed himself to his horse to keep it alive....the compassion of these old sikhs is inspirational and i personally wudnt know wat id do in that situation. i thought these stories might be useful and inspirational to the sangat...forgive me for any mistakes and please inform me if any of that was incorrect. fateh ive heard a similar story im not sure if its the same ppl involved in it but this singh told me that sum woman killed one of sant jis men, sant ji was 'angered' by this and asked for her head within 48 hours and the singhs got it on a stake and put a board up behind it stating whos head it was, the crime and the time it took the to get the head: 15hrs. let me know if this is b.s. or there is a similaar story. fateh

yea true, in a fight i had recently i didnt use any of my actual martial arts techniques , my mind had gone blank and the only thing i remembered was to turn my body and to aim my punch and step into it. i won by a mile but then i thought about all i have learnt over the last two years and i cudnt even put it into practice, cos of the adrenaline.............. but if we practice at a club it is much better than DIY. Fateh I think the best tip on how to knock sum1 out is to aim for the jaw...if u dnt learn any of those techniques e.g. steppin into it dnt matter as long as you get a good hard knock on the bottom of the jaw....that rocks ure opponents brain and knocks them out also brakes their jaw in two places.
