    Should I Fight?

I think you did the right thing. If you do smash some racist's face and then get called into see the teachers the best way to get out of it is to fake regret, say you are willing to apologise in person or in writing but also say that you were provoked and that you tried to ignore the racist but in the end you reacted. I agree with Inquillab Jindabaad. Too many Singhs now act like cowards when provoked. I am not saying that Singhs should just start a fight at the first instance but should tell the person first that you don't like his comments and he should stop. If he doesn't then you have to smash his face in. You have to look at the bigger picture. If he gets away with his comments on the Dastar then he will think that Sikhs don't mind when someone does this. So he will continue with other Sikhs and his mates will do the same. In my view you cut short the racist career of that <banned word filter activated>. Now he will know that if he makes a comment about a Sikh's Dastar he is likely to get a broken nose. You have probably stopped other Singhs from getting racist abuse from him. So well done and don't feel bad about it. The black woman who said that you should just ignore it, you should have said, ok then if someone calls you a n.igger do you just ignore it? Isn't racism a criminal offence? What if people like Martin Luther King had that attitude? I have come across people like that, they get into their positions by being discreet and non threatening to the white people and they get embarrassed if others don't have the same attitude as them and stand up for themselves.
  2. Why do Muslims always go back to the Crusades? They conveniently forget that the Muslims were the ones who invaded the Christian lands all the way up to France and yet they blame everything on the Crusades! If anything, Muslims and Islam has been getting a free pass since 9/11. Whenever there is a terrorist attack, the media always makes such there are Muslims being interviewed who ply the same falsehood such as Islam is a peaceful religion, even going so far as to lie that Islam means Peace! The truth is that Muslim states especially those who have the Sharia as the basis of their legal system are basketcases. They have the least amount of freedom, women and minorities are oppressed. The Sharia is a discriminatory legal system which species for instance that for the murder of a Muslim male the blood money is the highest, less for a Muslim women and much less for a non-Muslim. No doubt a Muslim will always use the lie that these countries don't really follow the Sharia. The fact is that Islam is a political system disguised as a religion. It has oppressed non-Muslims as per the teaching of Mohammed for the last 1400 years. No doubt there were periods when non-Muslims might have had an easier time than at others but they have always been at the mercy of Muslims.
  3. Sikhs should not vote for him and should make sure others do not vote for him.
  4. She looks like that daft bint who married that kala in Swindon and her marriage got disputed.
  5. Artificial countries like India either break up due to economic disasters, civil war and foreign intervention. China along with Pakistan would love to break up India into smaller units. Pakistan can never break up India. An invasion by a foreign power will initially bring the various nationalities together with a lot of jingoistic flag waving but once there is a military disaster as is a foregone conclusion in the case of a Chinese invasion, then saner elements within these nationalities will look at the disaster as an opportunity to break free from Indian control. Once one state goes then India is over as a viable nation. As in the case of Yugoslavia, once one state goes free then the others will do the same. The one state that could do this in the event of a military disaster is Kashmir. If Pakistan was involved, probably just in providing logistical support for a Chinese invasion, then it is likely that the Kashmiris would put pressure on Omar to declare independence. Either this or he would be hanging from the nearest tree. This would be the case if the Chinese broke through from Ladakh into the Kashmir valley. There is no doubt the Chinese would be welcomed as liberators in Kashmir but the danger is that the Chinese will stop at Srinagar. They would claim to have put India back in its place, given India a bloody nose and liberated the oppressed Kashmirs. They could then withdraw back into Ladakh. The danger for Sikhs is their leaders instead of seeing the Chinese invasion as an opportunity, they will also go jingoistic just like they did in 1962 and 1965.
  6. Although I know that a lot of people have issues with 3HO and Sikhnet, yet you have to admire the fact that they have been able to spread Sikhi to the remote corners of the South America. There are white Sikh communities now in almost all of the countries in South America. Maybe Sikhs farmers that are buying up land in Georgia, Ethiopia and other countries should look to set up in countries like Chile and Argentina. There appears to be plenty of land available and there is very little likelihood of they loosing their land once it becomes productive like it is in Georgia.
  7. Did anyone watch the Sikh Channel yesterday? There were these two Gurdwara pardhans interviewed, one was from Ealing Sikh Centre and the other one was from Hounslow Gurdwara. They gave some good facts and their views were interesting up to a point until the interviewer asked why isn't Manmohan Singh doing anything on the Sajjan Kumar issue? Then they totally did an about face and claimed-; 1. Manmohan Singh has no power, he will get blocked by his cabinet if he does anything to help the Sikhs 2. He is the PM of all of India, not just the Sikhs (this is totally laughable) The interviewer then asked why then does he not resign. The instant retort was-; 1. What will Sikhs get out of him resigning 2. Him being PM is giving the Sikhs a high profile around the world This shows that the Gurdwara pardhans are not on the same page as the Sangat. I have yet to come across a Sikh who has defended MMS. Most would not be bothered if the Indian govt removed him. What the Pardhans do not realise is that just as him being PM may give Sikhs a high profile, him being the PM also makes the human rights abuse of Sikhs more difficult for us to present to govts abroad because they invariable say, but the PM is a Sikh. If MMS suddenly gets his ankh back and somehow threatens to resign unless a SIT like in the Gujerat riots case is set for the victims of 1984, it would cause a serious embarrassment for the Indian system. The stock market would likely lose 300 points in a few minutes as foreign companies reassess whether they should invest in India.
  8. I came across this interesting website which I thought I would share with the forum http://www.barbaralehnebach.com/the-path-of-the-sikhs.html http://www.barbaralehnebach.com/sat-nam.html
  9. There's no proof that he was a RAW agent. The Pakistani legal system is as much a joke as the Indian one. Give the guy the benefit of the doubt. The real agents get swapped secretly and their arrests and release are never revealed to the media. His death is a result of that trigger happy Indian kut.ta president Pranab Mukherjee who has been disposing of mercy petitions like there's no tomorrow. When the Indians hanged Afzal Guru and Kasab it was obviously that the Pakistanis would do something in revenge.
  10. The SGPC is full of gadday. They have scored a massive own goal. Whatever kudos they would have got for agreeing to the construction of the memorial they have not lost with their mischevious moves to remove the signs.
  11. To be honest, the justice system in India was never likely to deliver justice to the Sikhs. Had the judge found him guilty he would have appealed and got bail and the case would have dragged on for more years until they found a judge who would do what the govt wanted him to do and acquit their man. The fact is that all the murderers of the Sikhs in 1984 acted on the orders of the Congress party and that party whether it is in power or not will do its up most to protect these murderers. This protection goes right to the top, Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan 'singh' are also part of the system that protects these murderers. Manmohan Singh gave these murderers ministerships in his govt. I hope that this case and the one of Bhai Davinderpal Singh Bhullar opens the eyes of those Sikhs who thought that we are equal citizens in India.
  12. There seems to have been quite a riot there and according to the report these guys pleaded guilty to violent disorder rather than the stabbings that took place. It could have been quite worst if the cops had charged them with attempted murder. Having said that, I am proud of what these guys did, they showed the Muslay that we won't tolerate their paedophile activities. The guys should appeal against sentences as they seem severe and given that if you're a muslay trying to blow up kafirs then you usually only get a few years in jail. http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/Court-hears-horrific-attack-Leicester-curry-house/story-18822167-detail/story.html#axzz2Rg42gA5a
  13. The Burmese believe these Rohingyas to be Bengali settlers and that they have no right to Burmese citizenship. The fact is that in the last few decades the Bangladeshi leadership has been espousing the concept of 'Greater Bangladesh' which combines parts of Assam and NE states as well as parts of Burma. The population has exploded in Bangladesh for the last 50 years and they have been pushing their excess population out of Bangladesh to settle other areas which can then become a part of 'Greater Bangladesh'. This is the reason why they will not give refuge to the Rohingyas, as it goes against their scheme. The riots that happened last year were when the Muslims raped a Buddhist girl and it was then that the ethnic riots occurred. The Burmese can see that their lands are being settled by the Bangladeshi Muslims and so they are fighting back.
  14. The whole caste thing is being raked up in order to get some cash from the local councils and government to set up nice little support groups for various communities of so-called low caste. These people probably had a point if this was the 1970s but apart from marriage who bothers about caste? I say we elect DalSingh to the Blitish Low Castes and other Discriminated Peoples Federation. Yes, it is blitish and not british!
  15. My kids both got PIO cards because they never had an Indian passport. It runs for 15 years and if their British passport runs out then they pay a fee about £19 to get the new passport no. put on the PIO card. I assume its similar for the OCI card which is for those who had Indian passports before but now have British passports or other non-Indian passports.
  16. The govt wants the film to lose money so that the producers of this film or any others thinking of making a similar film do not take the risk of losing money. The govt knows that they can never stop the film due to the internet but they want that Sadda Haq should be a one off and other films like it should not be made.
  17. What else can you expect from this Hijra who dances to the tune of Sonia Gandhi.
  18. The film needs to become a big success so that the same people as well as others will then make films from the Sikh viewpoint. All we have had is the government and Hindu viewpoint. One thing I would ask is that even if you are offered a pirate copy dvd don't watch it as you are directly hurting the makers of the film financially. Watch the film at the cinema so that there becomes a demand of these types of films in the future. Sadda Haq should not become the only stand out film but should be followed by others so that the youth are educated about how India treated us in 1984 and after. One thing that impresses me about Kuljinder Sidhu is that unlike others who might have buckled under the pressure of the scrutiny by the Hindu media, he has remained true to his convictions and not backtracked on anything he has said. In one of the interviews the <banned word filter activated> reporter asks him if the baagis (rebels) described in the song by Jazzy B were fighting in a right cause, he said 'yes' without hesitation. Someone else might have backtracked and tried to get the media on his side by diluting the message of the film but kudos to Kuljinder Sidhu for standing up. One other thing we need to be weary off is that some media will try and turn Sikhs against him. They have already tried by saying that Sikhs are hurt by his comparing Guru Gobind Singh with Bhagat Singh and Rajoana. Some media will and cut and edit some of his statements in order to make it look like he is saying something else. So be weary of this.
  19. What's really required is for some rich Sikh or consortium of Sikhs to either buy an airline or start one up. Initially it would take quite a bit of money but then the consortium could go public and sell shares once it is on a sound footing. We have had half hearted attempts before but this needs to done on professional level. There is enough demand, and most flights especially from the UK would be full if the flight was direct. There is probably enough demand in the UK and Canada for daily flights and probably a couple of flights per week from Germany, Italy, Australia etc. Even if the landing fees are more than Delhi and the tickets would reflect this then I for one would not mind paying an extra £100 for a direct flight to Amritsar and not see the shythole called Indira Gandhi International Airport! I do recall someone was interested in this idea about 6-7 years ago and then all of a sudden Jet Airlines started their direct flights to Amritsar, obviously this would have made the new airline idea more difficult but then as soon as that idea went dead the haram.zadas at Jet airlines withdrew their direct flights..co-incidence?
  20. Maharaja Ranjit Singh was no doubt a great leader and his achievements with regard to his creation of the Lahore State put him above all Sikh leaders. Where is failed is in two things-; 1. Ensuring that after his death there was a strong enough successor to hold on to what he has achieved. He allowed the Dogra brothers to infiltrate his court and become power brokers and eventually in league with the British, the destroyers of his kingdom 2. Making the Sikh kingdom into a true Sikh state. By this I mean that there is no record of him ever taking part in or giving money for the parchar of Sikhi. He did make large donations to Gurdwaras and gold plated the Durbar Sahib but in terms of taking an active interest in propagating Sikhi there is no evidence of him having done this. At his time the majority of people in his kingdom were not staunch followers of any of the three main religions of Punjab. The staunch followers of each religion were probably 30% of the total population of his state. This left about 70 % non-committed members and he should have done more to bring them to Sikhi. If you look at the way the Singh Sabha a few decades after him had been able to convert so many non-Sikhs to Sikhism, then with the resources of the state Ranjit Singh should have been able to at least have made the central Punjab into a Sikh majority area. Had this happened then at partition we would not have lost Lahore, Nankana Sahib and other areas of Punjab to Pakistan.
  21. The guy is a [omitted] and his wife seems to be a [omitted] not knowing that he is on camera and her banging the cups down on the table will affect the interview.
  22. If they had a shorter stop over of say a few hours then I would use Qatar airlines but otherwise the 11 hours stopover is the same as flying the Delhi and getting a coach or car to Punjab. I went on Turkmenistan airlines for the second time this year and although their food is rubbish if you can bring your own snacks then Turkmenistan is probably the best out of a bad bunch. Their stopover in Ashagabat is about 2 hours. The flight to Ashagabat is 6 hours and then 2 hours stopver and then another 2 off hours to Amritsar. Total flight time is about 10 hours so it's not too bad.
  23. The Shyt Sena spokesman is brain dead. He talks of aam admin not being safe and yet the haram.zada who got beaten is a Hindu Terrorist. Now if he said no Hindu Terrorist feels safe then probably he has a point. It's sad that he only got attacked with 'tezdaar hathyar' probably swords when in the 80s he would have had a few dozen bullets pumped into his body.
  24. The UK government should be warning female travellers not to visit Indian alone. Maybe they don't mind a few raped tourists as long as they can still trade with the Rapistanis! Saare jahan se achha, rapistan hamara
  25. As Mehtab Singh wrote, we live the real world. If someone is born in a Sikh family unless he openly declares that he doesn't believe in Sikhi and is an atheist then there is not much that the community can do to stop him having an Anand Karaj. With a non-Sikh it is clear that they are not a Sikh and hence the actions taken against them having an Anand Karaj. If the non-Sikh states that he is willing to follow the teachings of the Guru then there is nothing any Sikh can do to stop him having an Anand Karaj.
