For those who were aware of the issue in Wembley, London (which would have happened this Saturday 30 July) has now been resolved. Guru ji's Saroop WILL NOT be taken to the Banqueting Hall in Wembley this Saturday. For those who were aware of this situation, please do not turn up at the Hall.

Apart from the Family and the Management at the Banqueting Hall, The Metropolitan Police have assured us that the "SIKH" wedding will now not be performed in the Banqueting Hall in Wembley. Other sources who advised us of the issue in the first place have also confirmed this. The family are contacting wedding guest to advise of the changes.

Based on our meeting with the MPA and discussions with both the Bride and Grooms family it has been decided that there is now no reason to be present at the Hall on Saturday.

Lets see now how many "walk the walk" too. Excuses saying you are otherwise engaged are not really compatible. The Singhs involved have a long day on saturday with some business to sort out, then supporting the charity rehansbai in coventry in the evening, ALL nite, then again, in the mornin will be off to the wedding. If they are able, then why arnt we??

Make every effort as the money raised is being donated to Sandeep Kaur, the unfortunate Phenji who was acid attacked in kenya. The family has been informed and they do not have words to thank as they dont know how. Tears of happiness to know Sikhs out there are willing to help!

Therefore please make every effort, also make the efforts to arrive for the meeting, Sevadars of the campaign are also the assisting as sevadars for the rainsbhai so are easily approachable!!

Paji, the families are contacted in advance, an alternative location is offered to them! The campaign even arrange this for them free of charge!! and some of them pay for wedding planners!! Why!?!? We do it for free!! AND provide the kirtani too!!! Incase there arnt any available who actually obey Hukham of Maharaj,

Guru Ji has done Kirpa once again!! and has stopped a wedding on Sunday. That is now 2 out of 3!!!

Therefore we only have ONE wedding left on Sunday in Surrey which the details are listed above.

Please can all either come to the charity event in Coventry or the AKJ programme in Barking and speak to the campaign members to find out details as to times etc.

An updtae will be put on the site with a meeting place and time.

In brief the meeting point will be Park Avenue Gurdwara Southall, but we are not sure on the exact meeting time as this is yet to be confirmed.

Please make all efforts to come as the police have set aside an area for us to peacefully protest. Normally we only do chaupi sahib but this time we are thinking of doing Kirtan too to make it more of an impact!!!!
