if this individual is amritdhari then he/she is fearless cause he/she has given his/her head to Guru sahib. A khalsa is tyaar bhar tyaar and is equal to sawa lakh. I am not amritdhari but i believe that with all my heart.

How can you just become tyaar bar khalsa just by taking amrit. Taking amrit is being admitted to school of khalsa. It's like saying I admitted to university and I have bachelor degree without even going through learning proccess, tests, grade.

I think having that kind of beleif is becoming more popular these days- oh he took amrit, so he must be khalsa. give me a break- do you know even defination of khalsa? Read the full pauri of- khalsa mera roop hai khaas and understand it. Guru Sahib gives no difference between himself and khalsa. That much of higher of status khalsa was given. Khalsa is gurmukh, sant, sipahi, shahed, mahatama.

I found you more and your side kicks to be internet kharko's than even sikhs let alone khalsa. You better make sure when you take amrit, you let all your poisons/hatred in you out otherwise it be same like giving amrit to snake(malech). Amrit won't have much effect on you.

I took amrit few months ago but i still wish i should have waited because i know my avguns. I admit it.

"We sikhs need to stop living on glorifying deeds of puratan gurmukhs and warriors"

What i meant by that statement was that sikhs these days living on glorifying deeds of puratan gurmukhs and warriors only instead of doing anything themselves. They all like to chit-chat aboug great gurmukhs like baba deep singh ji and baba jarnail singh ji shaheed yet they chicken out when they come to know how much bhagti, gyan, pyaar these gurmukhs had. They get their kachera in the twist and obviously they ignore it because they just want to be wanna be's kharako's on the internet and brainwash others on hating others.

Last if not least, if i was nirankari or namdhari. I would have admitted it instead of being sheep about it. I am not scared of people like you or anyone else.

what il say is at least you have other sikh at your school,im the only sikh at my school.theres 4 pakistanis thats it teh rest are white.so it aint that great.when ya on ya own!!!!!!!!

At my school, there is an extremely large amount of punjabis.....but very few sikhs...

back when i was in elementary school there was a bunch of girls eating pizza that had meat on it, and one of them happened to go to my punjabi skool. i asked them y they were eating meat and didnt say anything. i told them that they shouldnt call themselves sikh and one of them asked why not.

i told her she was doing the exact same thing that the guru said not to.

she said that she was only doing one wrong thing.

then i asked her y she cut her hair..and she sat there dumbstruck..she was like..well i to paht sometimes......

i staredat them with pity

one day i happened to notice 2 kids talking beside me. one was telling the other to cut his hair. the other kid said that he would if the other did. soo the next day i saw one of the two boys had cut his hair

later, i made a comment that people throw around the name of Sikh like its a toy and that just cuz ur born in2 a sikh family that dosnt make you a sikh. one boy got angry at this and said "just cuz i eat meat that dosnt mean im not a sikh!"

recently i was appalled at wut people said: one boy called me a 'giani' and apparently to them that's something reely bad....i wondered if they even knew wut a giani was!

last year i did a project on Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale at school and before my presentation one punjabi kid asked me who "the guy on my poster" was. NOT ONE PERSON KNEW WHO HE WAS!

I find, it annoying and distressing that children who are raised in sikh familiees dont even knoew who they are! no.gif

If someone wishes to call themselves a Sikh - so be it.

Who are we to question someone if they claim or wish to be a Sikh? Who are to we question or doubt a relationship between an individual and their Guru?

If someone is doing an act and claiming it to be "Sikhi" - yes, you can clarify whether it is or not.

To be a Gursikh or member of the "Panth", then one must at least of having taken Amrit.
