most of the paintings that most people have werent actually painted during the time of the Guru's. But it dose not really matter since pictures, icons, idols dont stand for anything!! There just paint and canvas

i agree, but it doesnt hurt to have pictures in homes n stuff because they take our mind towards guruji even tho only to the physical aspect. but the pic above is jus tooo flimi if u ask me. look at how red their face looks, how prefect the dhara is. i mean guru's were humans jus like us. so why is that not reflected in the paintings thats all.
